Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: DJ R-3X (Droid Depot). Hasbro made a 6-inch scale one a few years ago, and it's very good. This one is 3 3/4-inch scale and I'd say it's pretty much on par, and cheaper without having to consider inflation. For fifteen bucks, this is just plain good with moving thumbs, three arms, and lots of painted weathering. And an articulated visor, and the headphones, plus also a nicely disguised hole in the head for hat purposes. Disney can do a really great figure when they want to - and here, they surely decided to knock it out of the park. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Force Ghost Yoda (Force Masters / Epic World of Action). He has no accessories and no paint other than the eyes, but this is a striking figure. The clear blue has a nice shine to it, with decent articulation for a kid's Yoda. It would be nice to have a cane or some other accessory. You've seen other dead versions of Yoda, but this one is probably the Smurfiest. Read on!
Now at DisneyStore.com, the R2-LVU and R2-INO Valentine's Day Star Wars Droid Factory Figure Set is up for $26.99. The little holo hearts read "beep" and "boop," and this set opts out of the cables on the feet.
While there are other pink and red droids, it is worth noting that these particular colorways are unique. These are also the first Valentine's Day-specific Droids to come out of the theme park industrial complex, following Easter, Christmas, Halloween, and Pride-adjacent robot recolors.
Shipping seems to start at $10, so you might want to roll the dice to see if you can combine this with another droid in the future. Yet another Disney droid release is expected next week with R5-K6, which Hasbro did in a hard-to-find Battle Pack and Disney did as a build-a-droid bin figure about ten years ago.
This week in Star Wars Q&A - Pegwarmers! Oh, we've seen a few. And since we only got one question I may be rambling a bit about Retro and the state of things in that second slot.
Also we are out of questions so I have two openings for next week. If you have questions, now is a great time to send them in!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Snowtrooper (The Vintage Collection). It's the best one yet - no surprise there. It's sold in a four-pack, or a typical cardback. But here's the weird thing - I've never seen it in a big box store. I can get plenty of Lando, or The Acolyte figures, maybe a Cobb Vanth or other characters. But for some reason, they decided not to put this nicely-articulated best-yet take on The Empire Strikes Back's most distinctive trooper in places where you can easily buy one, or two, or thirty. I'd recommend adding it to your squad if you can find it. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Force Masters / Epic World of Action). Still at a Target near you, this is the one figure in the set that gets you a lot of new parts. He shares a few elements with the bike figure you also don't have, but he's mostly new and has lightning on his hands for some reason. That aide, it's still a ver good figure. The 5-pack exclusive is a decent deal at regular price, and is $29.74-ish on sale today - and may be cheaper in a week or two. Be sure to snag it before it vanishes, it's neat. Read on!
This week in Star Wars Q&A - Vehicles - what's the deal with pricing? And Mini-Rigs, what's going on there?
Also we are out of questions so I have an opening for next week. If you have questions, now is a great time to send them in!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Wuher (2025 - The Vintage Collection). I was happy with the old one from 2000, but this one is better. If we never got this update with the HasLab Cantina, I'd still have been happy with the 25-year-old release - but wow. Painted chest hair. Facial bruising. Bags under the eyes. A separately molded hair piece. Incredible articulation. And, for some reason, an alternate hand which adds no actual functionality since his regular mitts can hold glasses just fine. He's got a blaster too. I'd say "get this one" but that ship has theoretically sailed unless you're going to the Bay of E. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Snaggletooth (Cantina Adventure Set - The Vintage Collection). A more or less modern mold painted to look like the very first Sears exclusive Star Wars figure! This guy has a blaster, three other figures, and a diorama - and the price is pretty fair for what you get in the box. The boots are molded in silver (rather than painted) plus he has pale skin and that thin red smile. It's distinctive, and you should probably buy two. Read on!
It's time! And you know what for.
The Retro Collection Dump has been updated, now that we have confirmation that Garindan's shawl/hood is a cloth part. My many lists and tallies have been updated to reflect Garindan, CZ-3, and R4-M9 reveals.
This week in Star Wars Q&A - Shadows of the Empire - is it time to come back? The endless vehicle upgrade cycle - is it over? Of course not.
Also let's speculate about 2027 because it's fun!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: R4-TR3 (Droid Factory). It's from 2024, and it's kinda great with super-colorful lights, but also, it's a decoration and maybe it will fit in hte background of your Endor display. It's sold out, but you can still find one. Read on!
