Ad: Entertainment Earth slashed the price on 6 of the original 12 Kenner Star Wars action figures - $29.99 is a freaking steal. You can pick up the Star Wars The Retro Collection 3 3/4-Inch Action Figures Set of 6 today, but hurry - at this price they're going fast!
This week in Star Wars Q&A - The Peaks of 3 3/4-inch action figures - are the best days behind us?
Also, we're out of questions for next week. So I went on a tear about what I'd like to see in 2025. You should send in new questions.
The answers are very long this week but that's OK. In the USA, it's Thanksgiving Week and you should be shopping online or goofing off anyway.

I'm on Bluesky. It got really popular in the last couple of weeks, so I am posting a few fun things there - like this! And yes there's a typo in it, Bluesky does not yet have an edit function.
What you're looking at is The Vintage Collection The Armorer’s Forge Playset populated by some 2022 and 2023 The Retro Collection figures from The Mandalorian. The playset got some criticism for being unpainted and old-looking - which my brain immediately read and thought "Oh so like a Kenner playset?" It even has a little cabinet that opens with sticker detail inside. The actual toy does not light up.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Osha Aniseya (The Retro Collection) . Her The Vintage Collection figure was one of Hasbro's very best, and the Retro figure is also pretty neat. I was surprised she has a separately molded wig - an impossibility of the Kenner era - and it looks phenomenal. I like this one. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Ahsoka Tano (Ahsoka/Jedi Robes, The Retro Collection). She has a new hat! And also, improved hands that better grip her lightsaber - if you see her, she's arguably worth the upgrade even though the figure sculpt and deco are more or less otherwise unchanged. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Emperor's Royal Guard (The Retro Collection) . This sold-out exclusive looks pretty spectacular, with detail surprisingly close to the original from 1983. You've probably got one by now, but if not, this was a good figure to have. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Admiral Ackbar (The Retro Collection). This is the reissue from last year, but you may have had the original for over 40 years - it's a neat one. The eyes on mine are a little off, but otherwise it looks fairly close to the original. It's not exact, but they never are. At least it's an awesome design, and the kind of thing you can't actually find on the pegs anymore as the line seems increasingly even more focused on human-faced aliens and conventional human body silhouettes. So get an Ackbar. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Tusken Warrior (The Retro Collection). This figure never showed up at Target or Walmart, but started showing up at Ross in the last month for $3.99. It answers the question "what if the 1978 Sand People had cloth robes?" It's quite excellent, if you see it for four bucks, buy two or six. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Luke Skywalker (Jedi Academy, The Retro Collection). It's the same as the spring 2023 figure, which is a remake of the 1983 figure, except this time it doesn't have a blaster and the cloak is black. Is it worth it? Well, it'd cost you about $10 for a fan-made black cloak so may as well get the official one. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: HK-89 Assassin Droid (The Retro Collection). It looks retro, it's based on an old McQuarrie design, and for that reason it feels right at home with your other old Kenner toys. Mine is a little lopsided, but it's a nice figure and if they ever showed up in stores again, I'd probably buy another one. I only saw them in a few Targets for a brief period last year, and you might not have seen them at all - but you can still order them online. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Marrok (The Retro Collection). He's from last summer's streaming show Ahsoka - don't forget The Acolyte ends tonight - and is a great little figure. The cape is nice, the lightsaber is cool, and it looks like a dark knight. Also it came and went from stores pretty quickly, so hopefully you got yours online already. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Krrsantan (The Retro Collection). It's still not in any stores I've been to, and it came out late last year. It looks like a remixed Chewbacca figure, with things you didn't see in the 1980s like big armor and hands that can grip a blaster. In other words, it's pretty good - and hopefully you got one if you wanted one. Read on!
Ad: Pre-order the new production of Star Wars: The Black Series Osha, Cal Kestis, Plo Koon, and The Acolyte The Retro Collection figures! New stuff, reruns, and more ThunderCats are on deck.
This morning Slashfilm surprised fans with their story The Acolyte's Osha And Adorable Droid Pip Are Now Star Wars Action Figures [Exclusive]. The big highlight is a six pack of figures from The Retro Collection with Osha Aniseya, Mae, Mother Ainiseya, Jedi Padawan Jecki Lon, Jedi Master Sol, and Yord Fandar.
From The Vintage Collection we also get a look at Osha, and pre-orders are coming soon on these figures.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Cad Bane (The Retro Collection). Based on his appearance in The Book of Boba Fett, this Kenner-style figure isn't quite as Kenner-y as some others - he more or less fits in, but lacks the detail and distinctive body language of the old guys. But it's a $12 Cad Bane, and he can stand and sit, and has a swell hat. Also he's one of the few figures where a vinyl cape might have been good to serve as a coat - but in this case, the coat is molded to the figure so it doesn't get in the way of him sitting in your old vehicles.
