Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,332: Imperial Remnant AT-RT Driver (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, March 31, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Imperial Remnant AT-RT Driver (The Vintage Collection). This one is interesting - the arms, legs, and lower torso are basically just the Snowtrooper from last year. The helmet and chest look a lot like the Shoretrooper or any of a number of Rogue One-era Imperials. The walker itself is impressive, yet expensive. The gaps of the legs were filled with panels, with painted buttons and screens on the console. There's never been an AT-RT with more articulation, plus it has really amazing snowy gunk paint on the legs. And on the other hand, it's $68. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,331: General Veers (AT-AT Driver, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, March 26, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: General Veers (AT-AT Driver, The Vintage Collection). The Imperial Officer buck from a few years ago is retooled with one of the best original trilogy human likenesses we've ever had. The helmet is removable. There's no chin strap or micorphone. The armor is fused to the chest. But it looks amazing, so you probably want to upgrade your 2006 Veers or your 2010 generic AT-AT Driver. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,330: Greedo (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, March 24, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Greedo (The Vintage Collection). This is the figure from the HasLab, now available outside that Cantina set. It's a really nice figure, although I would have liked them to have done something different with the sculpting for his yellow trim. Other than that, it's the best Greedo we've ever had at this size. Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,328: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Legend, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, March 17, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Legend, The Vintage Collection). He might be at a Ross near you, because life is weird. This is a great figure! He shares parts with other figures, but he also has new parts and deco like a distinctive set of goggles and a vibe that matches that one statue that was super expensive that you probably didn't buy. He's neat for $20, but for $5? Buy two, he's great. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,327: Rebel Soldier (Echo Base Hoth Gear, Shaven, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, March 12, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Rebel Soldier (Echo Base Hoth Gear, Shaven, The Vintage Collection). It's from a 4-pack, and has a body that was 11 years old when it was new... and it still looks pretty good. It has the obvious limitations on articulation granted from being an older figure with classic hip joints and swivel wrists, but it's still a pretty nifty figure to fill out your snow dioramas. The goggles don't fit so well though. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,326: Yoda (Jedi Spirits, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, March 10, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Yoda (Jedi Spirits, The Vintage Collection). Is he $19ish worth of figure? Not really, but the shiny paint looks really cool. The clear limbs are fine, but I think it might look better if he wasn't part ice sculptor. The designers did a nice job showing one kind of material transitioning into something more ethereal, though, and it's an impressive figure all the same.. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,325: Mandalorian Shriek-Hawk (Blue and Brown Chest Armor, Pale Yellow Right Shoulder, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, March 5, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Mandalorian Shriek-Hawk (Blue and Brown Chest Armor, Pale Yellow Right Shoulder, The Vintage Collection). He doesn't have his own name - that I know of. Sure, it's made from a lot of old parts, but so were the costumes. If you missed the set initially, I have good news: it's still available, and it sells for less than I paid for it. If you look at this Amazon affiliate link, it's $42.25 - I paid $64.99 back in 2024. Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,324: Night Trooper (All-White Helmet, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, March 3, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Night Trooper (All-White Helmet, The Vintage Collection). It's a 2024 release with four figures, all of which have at least some unique parts - the ribbons are differently configured per trooper, and the helmets are painted differently. This one has a helmet that's mostly white, with a little gold on it. That's good! But it uses a mold that's feeling more than a little old. He could use a hip replacement. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,323: Princess Leia Organa (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, February 26, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Princess Leia Organa (The Vintage Collection). She's gone now - and hopefully she'll come back, because this is a good figure with swappable hoods. The hair is a separately molded piece, the face printing is good, and this figure is about as good as you can get with molded plastic. I'm impressed by the waist joint and how her dress hangs over the belt just a bit. The only real shortcoming might be how her sleeves bend with the elbow joints, which may make another case for swappable, pre-posed arms that may look better on display. Point is, you should get one of these. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,322: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Spirits, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, February 24, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Spirits, The Vintage Collection). He's a lot like regular Ben, but with ice sculpture hands and feet, and for some reason you can see through his robes. I like the opaque bits a lot, but I feel the clear blue bits are losing me the more I look at these guys. Props to Hasbro for excellent metallic paint on the opaque parts, I think they're on the right track and hopefully we'll get something without see-through clothes after he's dead. How undignified. Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,320: Shaak Ti (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, February 17, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Shaak Ti (The Vintage Collection). She's the best version yet in terms of sculpt and engineering, but she also seems much more brightly colored - in line with the cartoons. If you don't have a Shaak Ti, get this one. If you do, you might be happy with what you have - but this is worth a peek, right? Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,319: Padmé Amidala (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, February 12, 2026

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Padmé Amidala (The Vintage Collection). This figure shows Hasbro's utter mastery of replicating characters from the 21st century with a head sculpt that's unmatched, with facial printing that's top-notch, and a very nice plastic wig to top it all off. Articulation is superb, and it's a lot better than the most recent 3 3/4-inch releases... and those were also amazing. If you're happy with what you have, don't look at one in person, because you'll be impressed and buy it. Read on!
