Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Tusken Chieftan (The Black Series). He uses parts of the old Tusken Raider from about seven years ago, but most of what you'll actually see are new parts, with new robes, and some decent paint.

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Cad Bane (The Black Series). This is the one from The Book of Boba Fett, so there are a lot of differences between him and The Clone Wars' "live action" figure from a few years ago. For example, there are no rocket boots... but it's still a blue Duro in a hat and a duster, so to a lot of fans it's not obvious that it's a completely new sculpt. Read on!

The big news and the biggest surprise to me was the Pipeline Reveal of The Retro Collection 6-pack of Revenge of the Sith and Attack of the Clones figures for Shop Disney and Hasbro Pulse. It's at 40:19.   Highlights include Padme (AOTC), Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker (ROTS), General Grievous, and Jango Fett. Also an Episode III Clone Trooper in plain white.   Hopefully this means regular drops of 6-packs are in the cards for other movies.

The sculpting is great, the paint is good, but the plastic reads more as "plastic" than "metal robot." But it's good - the articulation is top-notch and the design made the jump to a 6-inch figure pretty nicely. Read on!

You wanted him when the cartoon was still on, but hey, now you've got his revised armor with the fancy helmet and Darksaber. For a retool, it's pretty good! Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2, The Black Series). This is a new mold for 2023, larger than the 2013 version and weirder. He's got a telescoping neck with on-board storage for all his claws and arms, plus a retractable third leg with an articulated foot. That's an unusual feature in Hasbro R2-D2 figures. It's by no means perfect, but it's a pretty great replacement for the old one if you feel like dropping $25 on another R2-D2, which I of course did. Read on!
