New Walmart Exclusive The Black Series 3 3/4-Inch Figures Revealed?

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, August 30, 2016

New Black Series - repacks!  According to many sources, and Robot Kingdom (a very popular exporter of Transformers overseas) there are 4 more The Black Series 3 3/4-inch action figures coming out as future Walmart exclusives.  You may already own them, but they’re good ones if you missed them.  While Hasbro has not confirmed this, it’s a slow news week so we’re going to assume this is all fact and  tell you about these previous releases.  Read on for more pictures, links to reviews of the original figures, and a list of who you can expect to find in stores in the next couple of months.

At this time, there are no Rogue One or The Force Awakens figures in these waves known to be coming.   This continues the previous The Black Series line's proud tradition of minimizing freshness in the 3 3/4-inch range.

SDCC Exclusives - Expect To Announce the Time Tuesday

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, July 25, 2016

Update: August 9!  Be there!

Correction: While we don't have a time or date yet, we're told to expect to post the date of sale for its remaining SDCC 2016 exclusives Tuesday.   This would include any remaining 6-inch Jyn Erso (standard figure with photos, unique packaging), Obi-Wan Kenobi (unique packaging and electornic accessory), and Rilo Kiley (Kylo Ren helmet, unmasked head, unique package, Vader helmet, base, flag).   At press time I do not have a confirmation that variant head Kylo Ren is or isn't coming out down the road - so you may want to keep reloading to get these, whenever that time may be.

No 3 3/4-inch figures were sold at the show.  (For Star Wars.)

Black Series 6-inch Astromech Droids - NOT At Comic-Con

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, July 8, 2016

Toys R Us will have an exclusive Black Series 6-inch set of Star Wars Droids during San Diego Comic-Con, but will not be at Comic-Con.  As I work for Entertainment Earth and will be working on the booth for the show, I reached out to me for confirmation - and I can confirm this item will be sold online.  (I also assume at stores later.)  The droids are identified as R2-A3, R5-K6, and R2-F2 on the packaging.

Entertainment Earth Booth #2343 will be selling a number of other items for Toys R Us as well as their own exclusives, including some other Star Wars and Hasbro items. Click here to see the droid item at Toys R Us' web site.

She's out!  Kmart's Rey (Starkiller Base) 6-inch The Black Series action figure is making the rounds and is being placed on shelves as I write this.  Might your one or two remaining stores have them?  You'll have to go look, because the product finder on their web site isn't working properly.   Each figure is $24.99, assuming of course you find one.  I located one at one of the final Mart of K outposts in Phoenix, AZ this afternoon.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,255: Constable Zuvio (The Black Series 6-Inch)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, December 9, 2015

Hey, it's Constable Zuvio!  He has a magnificent paint job on his armor, and we know absolutely nothing about him in the movie yet.  Well.  With that, I'm taking a FOTD break because I actually would like to see the movie before commenting any more on these - so read on, for what it's worth.

Update: Don't use Paypal on the web site right now, as it seems to be causing problems.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,246: Imperial Shock Trooper (The Black Series 6-Inch)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, November 26, 2015

I'm pretty stoked whenever we get a Stormtrooper with marks of some sort, so last week's Walmart-only Imperial Shock Trooper was a treat.   The mold is good, and the Shocktrooper markings from the Battlefront game make it even cooler.  Want to know more?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,245: Darth Vader (Emperor's Wrath, The Black Series 6-Inch)

Fresh from the drug store chain, Darth Vader (Emperor's Wrath) is out and about with improved armor deco, a retooled arm, and a new head.   It's a decent figure - but it's still basically the same Vader from last year with a few modifications.   Want to see more about this 6-inch figure?  Read on!
