NEW! This is Hasbro's first completely new Stormtrooper action figure in years - the bulk of the Sandtroopers and Stormtroopers you've seen have been derived from parts originally designed in 2004 or 2005, with few exceptions. This all-new figure has 5 joints and is beautiful. You should all be furious that you can't go buy a dozen of them - I just want to get a few more myself! Anyway, read on!

UPDATE 12/20: If you ordered your figures from Super7 at either San Diego Comic-Con or through their web site, you may be receiving them this weekend - mine showed up today. The figures came on blue, unpunched cardbacks and the bonus figure was a clear grey Alien which, as someone who is a little sick of clear figures, I gotta say looked awesome. Check those mailboxes - or order yourself a set! Do it! Send Hasbro a message about how much we love vintage-style figures, people!
Amazon has been marking down - and up - and down - a lot of toys over the last few days. Right now, the Vintage Collection Slave I at $35 and Vintage Collection TIE Interceptor at $25 are about as low as we've ever seen them. Droid Factory figures are back up to $35 - cheaper, but not as low as the $15 last week.
Numerous action figures are down to about $3-$5, and not just Star Wars - Batman 1966, Star Trek Kre-O, DC and other Mattel Batman figures, and Transformers are getting cut too. Click through to see more.

In a move surprising no one, Disney now has sequel rights for upcoming Indiana Jones films so says Variety. From TFA:
"The Walt Disney Studios and Paramount Pictures have reached a distribution and marketing agreement for the Indiana Jones franchise.
Under the arrangement, Disney gains distribution and marketing rights to future films, in addition to retaining the ownership rights it secured when it acquired Lucasfilm."
In what I can only assume is to make early adopters who paid $59.99 not a month and change ago feel as foolish as possible, Amazon cut the price on the Star Wars Legacy Collection Droid Factory Action Figure 6-Pack to a mind-blowing-but-why-stop-now $23.99. Black Series figures ($11.99 Greedo) and other items also received deep cuts, and since we're going to go ahead and say this qualifies as news, you'll see more of them after the jump.

Ad: While you probably don't need more Black Series 6-Inch Sandtrooper Action FIgures, Amazon has them for $11.24 $10.12 - the best price I've seen yet. The armor is largely removable and I assume the dirt comes off, so customizers/troop builders/clearance finders - this is the time to order some Sandtroopers!
Looking for a can't-miss collectible? Invaluable.com has a blaster belonging to one Han Solo, modeled after the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi weapons. Click here for more, but the important thing is that it's expected to sell for $200,000-$300,000, which is more than I expect to earn before I die in a bizarre gardening accident in the coming decade.
