Gentle Giant announces their 2013 Premier Guild Membership program and it includes a few pieces of Star Wars awesomeness, like a Jumbo Kenner "First Shot" Rocket Firing Boba Fett prototype!
The Rancho Obi-Wan Experience, a specially-selected group of Star Wars memorabilia from the world's largest private collection, will be part of the activities at Star Wars Celebration Europe in Essen, Germany July 26th to 28th.
More sightings of 2013 Clone Wars in Canada has been reported by GH reader Stephane, who found a full case at his local ToysRUs in Brossard, Quebec, Canada.
This week on The Clone Wars: Ahsoka is on the run some more in "To Catch a Jedi." Unlike many episodes of the series, this one is actually really exciting, giving us a chance to look at the lower levels of Coruscant (and we get so close to level 1313) as we get glimpses into just who (probably) really did set up the Jedi temple bombing a couple of weeks ago. While we don't meet many new characters, old familiar faces are back and will continue to make you mad that Hasbro isn't making more toys of these designs. Spoilers and video after the break.
So Clone Trooper Sinker was one of the last figures from 2012, exclusive to online accounts and, honestly, not a terrible set. It's still pretty cheap, although the price has been in flux wildly over the last four months. I like it.

Packaged with the delightfully odd Yoda Jedi Attack Fighter, this Super Battle Droid is, appropriately enough, another victim for Yoda's merciless rage. The figure is based on a 2002 deluxe mold which, coincidentally, was also the object of Yoda's scorn. Can this poor robot catch a break?
The Canadians (and Europeans) appear to have begun receiving their shipments of 2013 Yoda Line Clone Wars that will never see U.S. release (though you never know. Stuff does tend to show up at a Marshalls or a Ross months later). GH reader Torynn reports finding the new Clone Wars figures at a Canadian Superstore over the weekend for $10.99 each. Congrats on the find and send in those reports!
From our sponsors at Brian's Toys: The new Hasbro 12" Anakin and Clone Trooper figures are now in stock along with the new Class II Fleet vehicles. Also new this week is the Marvel Universe Wave 17 which includes 5 new character figures.
It's time for Q&A again! Let's talk about upcoming exclusives, plus the Sandtrooper obsession plaguing America today. And since we're all here, what's the deal with those new LEGO sets not being modeled after anything we've seen yet? All this and a little more Toy Fair in this week's installment, which you can read after the break.
This Battle Droid is a pretty good one. It came in a 2012 Battle Pack and is based on a really good mold which Hasbro basically retired far too soon. It has ankle joints and the works, and generally came with too-big eyes. Ah well. Should you get one?
Sideshow is now taking pre-orders for their upcoming exclusive Darth Vader Mythos statue. The polystone statue features interchangeable portraits of Hayden Christensen and Sebastian Shaw as Anakin Skywalker, a helmeted head, and interchangeable right hands.
The Republic Trooper was one of those figures they made into online exclusives last year, meaning it was a tough figure to get. It's pretty expensive still. It came with a bunch of weapons and has pretty fantastic deco, so should you get it?
This Battle Droid was the best of breed in the big MTT box last year, and will no doubt make many returns in Saga Legends and elsewhere as the new, 5-jointed mold. It's pretty good. It's not amazing, but it's interesting to say the least. Want to know more?
