UPDATE 12/20: If you ordered your figures from Super7 at either San Diego Comic-Con or through their web site, you may be receiving them this weekend - mine showed up today. The figures came on blue, unpunched cardbacks and the bonus figure was a clear grey Alien which, as someone who is a little sick of clear figures, I gotta say looked awesome. It's not Star Wars, but shares the same Kenner DNA. Super7 is rolling out their new ReAction Alien action figure assortment that's based on the cancelled line from 1979 in eloquent style for SDCC. There are four exclusives altogether and two are FREE!

With interest in Kenner retro vintage style Star Wars action figures growing in popularity, Super7 brilliantly pulled one of the more pleasantly surprising reveals by announcing that they will be producing retro action figures based on Kenner's unproduced 1979 Alien prototypes.
