Our friends at Super7 celebrate May the 4th (Star Wars Day) at their San Francisco store with guests including the 501st Legion, a Star Wars Photobooth and Mini Arcade, raffle prizes and more.
You can order a single Alien or a 5-pack of all the figures at Entertainment Earth right now! Order the Alien for $14.99 or the 5-pack of Ash, Kane, Dallas, Ripley, and the Alien for $64.99. I got a set... and wouldn't you know it, I've got some quick impressions.
UPDATE 12/20: If you ordered your figures from Super7 at either San Diego Comic-Con or through their web site, you may be receiving them this weekend - mine showed up today. The figures came on blue, unpunched cardbacks and the bonus figure was a clear grey Alien which, as someone who is a little sick of clear figures, I gotta say looked awesome. Check those mailboxes - or order yourself a set! Do it! Send Hasbro a message about how much we love vintage-style figures, people!
It's not Star Wars, but shares the same Kenner DNA. Super7 is rolling out their new ReAction Alien action figure assortment that's based on the cancelled line from 1979 in eloquent style for SDCC. There are four exclusives altogether and two are FREE!
The Force will be strong in the historic Haight-Ashbury area of San Francisco where Super7, Rancho Obi-Wan, the 501st Legion, and a host of others will be putting on a Star Wars Day extravaganza filled with exhibition of rare merchandise, exclusives, and giveaways.
The event takes place between 11 am to 7 am this Saturday, May 4th at the Super7 store located at 1427 Haight Street, San Francisco.
With interest in Kenner retro vintage style Star Wars action figures growing in popularity, Super7 brilliantly pulled one of the more pleasantly surprising reveals by announcing that they will be producing retro action figures based on Kenner's unproduced 1979 Alien prototypes.
Super7 announces three new Star Wars inspired t-shirts that will make their debut at San Diego Comic-Con this week. The ingeniously designed shirts feature a retro Atari Asteroids arcade game, Wookiee Sighting based on the famous Patterson Bigfoot photo, and an MC Escher inspired Death Star Relativity.
