You can't afford to miss the Moff Gideon (The Vintage Collection). For such a tiny head, this is one of Hasbro's very best likenesses - he has a Darksaber and a blaster, plus a removable cape. The articulation is nothing to sneeze at. There's somefring for everybody.

Today let's take a look at the not-too-distant-past with the partially old, partialy new Darth Vader (Rogue One, The Vintage Collection). It's a figure from nearly 10 years ago with new paint and some new parts.

Let's look at the Electrostaff Purge Trooper (The Black Series 6-Inch). The gummy bolts don't like to stay put - so expect to lose those under a couch. Read on!

A current Target exclusive, this Remnant Stormtrooper (The Black Series 6-Inch) features some exceptionally nice paint on that new Stormtrooper mold. Given that just 13 years ago we were seeing troopers with what looked like grass stains and we said "hey that ain't bad," this is some real progress. Read on!

Somehow this got missed on the front page, but Clone Trooper (Phase I, The Black Series 6-Inch) is a figure! You can buy it! It's a lot like the Phase II mold used for Ahsoka's squad and the Kamino troopers, but with a different helmet and articulation similar to 3 3/4-inch figures.  It's good - do you need to rebuild your armies now?  Read on!

I'm very fond of the Death Trooper (Credit Collection, The Black Series 6-Inch) - the black armored trooper from Rogue One is back, splattered with orange and purple as you saw in the end credit sequence.  For fans of designer toys, this Amazon-exclusive is pretty gorgeous - but you might be perfectly happy with the figure you bought a few years ago all in black.  Read on!

We just got a small one, but we also got a 6-inch The Armorer (The Black Series 6-Inch) last year!  This is the mass release with the plastic cape - and she's great.  Shiny! Accessorized!  Ready to smash skulls and forge armor, the Armorer is... oh, why even write her up.  You're not going to find her in stores.  Read on!

As repaints go, Incinerator Trooper (The Black Series 6-Inch) is kind of perfect.  New paint, new pauldron, flamethrower, and a backpack - plus The Mandalorian fans can shake hands with The Force Unleashed fans for a trooper that can appeal to fans of both.   But good luck finding one, as always.  Read on!

A weird roll-out with a late pre-order for the single and a PulseCon boxed set, Luke Skywalker (Endor, The Black Series 6-Inch) is pretty good. New head! New hat! New poncho!  Same old weird joints.  It's not the only weirdly almost-accurate Luke Skywalker you'll see this month, and it's a good remake of the classic character - but sadly, he has no blaster.  Read on!
