Today in Figure of the Day, it's a good one: Cad Bane (The Black Series 6-Inch). This one was available by himself or in a set with Todo 360, end either one is really excellent if you can find them. Cad Bane's hat comes off, he has two blasters, and each and every joint seems to be perfectly hidden in his costume. This is one of the best figures from last year, so get one when you see one. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Zutton (The Vintage Collection). This mold was previously sold as a Target exclusive in a 3-pack a few years ago, and now it's back! At first glance it's pretty much the same as that first release. At a longer glance, it's also pretty much the same as the first release with a bit more of a paint wipe and slightly glossier hair. If you have the first version, you probably don't need the new one - but it's worth a look anyway. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Boba Fett (Deluxe ROTJ, The Black Series 6-Inch). This one ships in a case by himself - that's good! But he's $30 - that's bad. But he comes with a bonus sawed-off blaster - that's good! But his capture claw gauntlet is just some weird clip-on bracelet - that's bad. Can we read on now?
It's old, but new, but pretty much the same as the old one: Shoretrooper (The Black Series 6-Inch). It's a rerelease! The 2021 Archive figure looks a lot like the 2016 Walmart-exclusive version, but the damage deco is a little different. If you have the first release, you probably don't need this one unless you're army-building and want some subtle variety in your troops. Read on!
A blast from the past from right now: Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi (Kenner, The Black Series 6-Inch). This one takes an existing mold, and paints it in 1978 colors. The cloth cape is gone, replaced by a vinyl cape - which works surprisingly well. This is absolutely more of an art piece or a display piece - and it's seemingly sold out for a while. Read on!

As Captain Beefheart once said to hecklers, "I'm going to do what I want to do!"
I don't much like coding or social media or anything like that - but I love writing about toys. Back in the 1990s I ran a Star Wars email newsletter called ASWN, Adam's Star Wars Newsletter, as a dial-up text email blasted out to people. I may set up a new email server, but I brought it back as a 1995-chic web page with all the new info from today's Hasbro Pulse announcements, and some updates on upcoming comics, streaming shows, and conventions that you may have missed.
Click here to return to 1995 with a brand new issue of Adam's Star Wars newsletter. It's all text. That's how I want to do it. If you don't like it, there are lots of other web pages not written by cranky middle-aged fans who started writing about toys as cranky teenage fans.
Today in Figure of the Day: Greef Karga (The Vintage Collection). He's based on the season two costume, which looks great - that means he traded the mustache for a beard, and it's a little thin on this figure. Still, the costume translates nicely to a toy and the range of motion is pretty good considering his robes. The blaster has a working holster, too. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Child (The Black Series 6-Inch). This one was packed with Target's exclusive 6-inch Mando, and has an arm permanently raised, reaching out. Also the flying pram from the end of season one. It's tiny, but is it worth a $15 upcharge over a standard Mandalorian figue... that you'll probably never ever see in stores anyway? Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Din Djarin (The Black Series 6-Inch). He's got a removable helmet with a nose bump, a little green sidekick, some slabs of metal, and a floating baby stroller - plus some other stuff. It's not cheap, but you get a lot in the box if you can find one. Read on.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Princess Leia (Bespin Escape, The Vintage Collection). I assumed this was just a head swap, but it looks like nearly every piece added new elements when compared to the 11-year-old Hoth Leia figure. Having said that, the articulation is largely very much like that figure, minus any of the Rogue One-era improvements like the improved leg articulation. Still, she's great, and that's a marvelous head sculpt. The last time we got a new version of this costume was Power of the Jedi, so get this one. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Child (The Vintage Collection). He's tiny. He has a the hovering pram and a frog. He also costs more than the 6-inch scale one - but you will probably want this one anyway. Also I was surprised to actually see this at a Target last night. Read on!
Today in Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day: Boba Fett (The Vintage Collection). What you'll hear about in fan circles are two missing lines on the chest - a slight blemish on what would be Hasbro's very bet Boba Fett sculpt in this size to date. There is no known running change in the works, but at least what you get looks really good - the articulation is great. The sculpting is fantastic. The colors are excellent. If you can find it, you're going to buy it anyway - it's just that good. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Queen Amidala (2021 Redux, The Vintage Collection). The repaint is tremendously improved with incredible face paint - the outfit is pretty much the same, as is the blaster, but with slightly cleaner paint masks. When do we get a 6-inch version of the Queen with the make-up? Hasbro really nailed this one. Read on!
