The Star Wars FX Emperor Palpatine Lightsaber - or Darth Sidious Lightsaber, really - is $249.99 and coming out later this year. It's one of the fancier models, like the Darth Revan one due to ship pretty soon. The lightsaber blade is indeed removable, and it includes a display stand.
You can order one at sponsor Entertainment Earth or affiliate, Amazon.
So how was the Hasbro breakfast here in San Diego? Awesome. But for Star Wars? There's nothing you haven't already seen. Hasbro showed off its Hyper Real Darth Vader and Black Series X-Wing Helmet along with a couple of Comic-Con exclusives. We snapped a few photos, but you've seen these before. New reveals were promised in this afternoon's panel, so stay tuned for more!
Hasbro has two new "prop" toys this time around. One is a giant Darth Vader helmet replica, and it's huge. It was displayed in a big round glass case, but the actual toy will come in a black cardboard box.
The other toy is The First Order's Riot Baton, used by Stormtroopers in the sequel trilogy. It expands, flips, spins, and is generally awesome.
Presumably you'll want more pictures, and we do have some of those after the jump.
One of the surprise hits of The Black Series has been a series of higher-end fancy-boxed toy helmets from Hasbro. The Stormtrooper and Kylo Ren editions were strong sellers, and they look nice on a shelf. (My nose is too big to enjoy them.) This year, the latest release is Poe Dameron's Black Squadron helmet. Could this mean a white and blue variant is coming as someone's exclusive? I'd bet money on it. I love these things. But that's me - what does Hasbro have to say?

STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 3.75-INCH TITANIUM SERIES Figure Assortment
(Ages 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $14.99/Available: Spring 2017)
This highly detailed scale of action figures allows fans to recreate epic scenes from STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE. Inspired by the 40th Anniversary of the first STAR WARS film, each iconic figure represents a notable character, including DARTH VADER, HAN SOLO, LUKE SKYWALKER, PRINCESS LEIA, and OBI-WAN KENOBI, in impeccable movie-real design. Each figure features a dynamic, double-sided backdrop and character-specific accessory, allowing fans to recreate iconic moments. Even better, collect each individual backdrop to piece together a bigger STAR WARS scene. Each figure sold separately. Available at most major retailers and on HasbroToyShop.com.
Hasbro's PR team kindly sent along a press release with many new and some neewish exclusives! More are coming this fall, but for now, here's a look at what you can expect on (or around) Friday, September 30. None of the 3 3/4-inch figure exclusives are listed here, but 6-inch, prop replicas, Nerf guns, and more await you after the jump.
Ultimate Studio Edition Star Wars Collectibles are now up for grabs at http://collectibles.starwars.com/. This new product line is yet another prop replica maker, with one key difference - these ones boast even more authenticity, and are priced (and packaged) accordingly. Eight pieces are up for grabs now, all from The Force Awakens, including Vader's melted helmet (pictured) as a limited edition of 500 for $3,500.
Over in another place where they speak English, a number of companies have put out little weekly magazine-with-figure or magazine-with-parts to build something really big. DeAgostini is doing a 1:1 replica of an 808mm (32-inch) prop of the Millennium Falcon from The Empire Strikes Back in this format, with 100 "issues" of parts and pieces at £8.99-£10.99 per - so it gets pretty expensive. Click here to read more. No word on a US distribution plan yet.
If we hear more about distribution in other territories, we'll post that too.
Another costume licensor! C2E2 allowed Anovos to debut its Star Wars wares after it put out some top-notch gear from Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. Previously Windlass Studios put out some top-notch costumes for Padme, Anakin, and others. Anovos has shown Luke Skywalker's Bespin togs from The Empire Strikes Back, some high-end Revenge of the Sith Clone Trooper armor, Han Solo's holster from the original Star Wars, and the prototype for their first Darth Vader costume.
