The new Black Series premieres in fantastic fashion with two of the more iconic characters of the Original Trilogy (who will also reportedly star in their own stand alone spinoff films in 2016 and 2018). Presenting Hasbro loose and packaged photos of the hotly anticipated Comic-Con 2013 exclusive Black Series Boba Fett with Han Solo Carbonite. 

Check this out - wasting no time, Joe Amaro made a Custom Black Series Jabba the Hutt for you 6-inch figure fans!  Nice!  It's really big, and you can see him standing next to a DC Universe Classics-scale Batman action figure for scale.

An awesome surprise pops up this morning as USA Today unveils the upcoming Comic-Con exclusive Black Series Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite!

A spy report from the Nuremberg Toy Fair courtesy of Jedi News reveals more of what's planned in 2013 from Hasbro, including the Black Series 3.75 inch line (Vader Card)  where some of the planned Droid Factory figures will end up, a "budget" Movie Heroes assortment, and a "Mission Series" 2 pack.
