In "I can't believe it" news, Disney+ is adding Ewoks to their line-up. Also a number of other 1970s and 1980s Star Wars small-screen action, of which the Endor furballs made up the most volume. (Conspicuously absent: Droids, a cartoon with R2-D2, C-3PO, Boba Fett, IG-88, Mini-Rigs, and of course, Vlix.)
A Disney+ line-up making the rounds in the press mentioned the following Star Wars highlights:
April 2
Caravan Of Courage (or in the USA, The Ewok Adventure)
Ewoks: The Battle For Endor
Star Wars: Clone Wars - Volume I
Star Wars: Clone Wars - Volume II
Star Wars: Ewoks (S1)
Star Wars: Ewoks (S2)

Stuff does tend to show up at a Marshalls or a Ross months later). GH reader Torynn reports finding the new Clone Wars figures at a Canadian Superstore over the weekend for $10.99 each. Congrats on the find and send in those reports!
Let's look at Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Wave 7! He's from the new internet-only wave, which i the last batch of figures on this packging for a little while. The sculpt is great, the articulation is top-notch, and the figure is effectively a really slick "realistic" interpretation of the 2008 animated figure... but with more articulation. This week in Galactic Hunter Video Theater, it's more fun we found from YouTube! I have no idea why it's up there, but the now woefully out-of-print Clone Wars 2003 Microseries is something you really ought to see. Seriously, this is must-watch stuff here. From Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack), the series spanned three very brief seasons over the course of about two hours. The first 20 episodes were about three minutes each... which was negotiated up from George Lucas' initial pitch of one minute per episode.
The fifth season of The Clone Wars kicks off Saturday morning with what one can assume may be the conclusion to last year's cliffhanger, which involved Darth Maul. And apparently now involves Mandalorians, meaning that the sound you hear may indeed involve a shark or a motorcycle.

The standard brand bearer and primary clone for The Clone Wars series gets an update in 2012 that transitions him into Phase II armor. The new Captain Rex looks absolutely magnificent, with great sculpting, awesome deco and weathering detail, and shares some parts with CW2 Phase II Clone Trooper. What he lacks in articulation (8 points), Rex certainly makes some up for in aesthetics. But will that make the cut for pose happy collectors?
