Figure of the Day

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,301: R4-TR3 (Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, December 11, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: R4-TR3 (Droid Factory). It's from 2024, and it's kinda great with super-colorful lights, but also, it's a decoration and maybe it will fit in hte background of your Endor display.  It's sold out, but you can still find one. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,300: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Blue Tech Speeder Bike / Epic World of Action)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, December 9, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Blue Tech Speeder Bike / Epic World of Action). I've never seen this in a store - but you can get it online. The bike is a nifty new mold with swing-out wings, rolling wheels, and a firing rocket. Obi-Wan is a mix of unique parts and elements shared with other figures - and a great head sculpt for a kid item. If you can find it for a fair price, especially at or under $20, get it. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,299 Chewbacca (2025 - The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, December 4, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Chewbacca (2025 - The Vintage Collection) . It's the new one, but it's also made up of a lot of parts from the 2004 figure still. They did a great job back then, but I'd also love to see what a 100%-new figure might look like. This one can sit a little better, and the head paint is good - but the bandolier might get in the way of hanging out on a chair in your Cantina if you don't angle him right. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,298: R2-H25 (Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, December 2, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: R2-H25 (Droid Factory). This one was unusual - it went up at $14.99, then went up to $17.99, and is now old out. Other than the hat, it looks like it would fit in with your movie droids - and I love that. Should you track it down? Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,297: Walrus Man (Cantina Adventure Set - The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, November 27, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Walrus Man (Cantina Adventure Set - The Vintage Collection). It was sold out, but site sponsor Entertainment Earth put up pre-orders on Wednesday if you missed it. You should get it. The set of 4 aliens is $75 with a swell diorama. This is a redeco of Walrus Man, now with blue on his coat, blue pants, and green skin. The shirt isn't exactly a match to the original Kenner figure, but it's super weird and neat and I love it. Also I can't knock the pricing. It's pretty wonderful. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,296: The Mandalorian (Blue Tech Speeder Bike / Epic World of Action)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, November 25, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Mandalorian (Blue Tech Speeder Bike / Epic World of Action). I haven't seen this toy in any major toy store chain - you're probably going to need to order online or wait for somewhere like Ross to have it. It's the same as the previous bike figure, but it now includes the blue "Power the Force" Darksaber, a blue rocket launcher, and a slightly redecorated bike. It's a good toy for the money, Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,295: Gonk (Gift Snowflake, Advent Calendar 2024)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, November 20, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Gonk (Gift Snowflake, Advent Calendar 2024). It's from 2024! It cam in a big sandcrawler box and was the second Advent Calendar in this series - but people didn't show up for it, and you can get it a bit more cheaply on eBay. There wasn't a new one this year, so why not look at last year's? He has a wrapping paper and ribbon motif plus a little red Santa hat. It was nicely done, but it might not fit in with your standard movie figures. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,294: Hammerhead (Cantina Adventure Set - The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, November 18, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Hammerhead (Cantina Adventure Set - The Vintage Collection). I got mine from Hasbro Pulse, where it has been in and out (and now out) of stock. It's this year's deluxe figure minus a hand and a couple of accessories, shaping up to be an excellent deal as part of the big box set with three other dudes and a backdrop. You should get it if you can find it. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,293: Anakin Skywalker (Epic World of Action)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, November 13, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Anakin Skywalker (Epic World of Action). It's new! I have yet to see him in any store, but online sellers have had him off and on since August. The figure's render on the packaging is superb - you can see where things went a little sideways with a head that doesn't quite look the same plus an armor piece around his neck that feels a little too thick. Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,292: Snowtrooper Commander (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, November 11, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Snowtrooper Commander (The Vintage Collection). This is the 3-pack guy - the single carded figure (and trooper pack) are the grunts, so this one has different shoulders and knees and a different helmet too. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,291: Han Solo (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, November 6, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Han Solo (The Vintage Collection). It's new! It has great articulation and construction! But the hair and face are still hard to get right. I'd still recommend it as the best possible option you can buy right now, but you might also be happy with the figures you've got - and a new version is probably inevitable down the road. You can see where the extra money is going with the neck as a piece separately molded from the shirt, a unique wig piece, face printing, and other distinct (and not free) elements. But, the 1999 CommTech one might be good enough for your playset display needs. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,290: Clone Captain Rex (Epic World of Action)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Clone Captain Rex (Epic World of Action). It's been out for a couple of months and is an excellent figure with a good amount of articulation. The price is great for what you get. So what's the catch? I haven't seen any in stores yet, it's available online and I assume that means the line isn't doing very well. While he has two clear blue pistols - admittedly, an unusual choice - it's still a well-made figure that would probably do great business if people could find it on a peg. I'd recommend it if you can find it. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,289: R5-ZOMB (Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, October 30, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: R5-ZOMB (Droid Factory). He's from last year, but just look at it. Making a holiday droid that somehow integrates into the greater universe is tough, and the muted colors really work here. It feels like a piece of equipment left exposed to the great outdoors, complete with a rusted-out hole in the dome and dirty paint applications. One eye is blacked out with the other two featuring a yellow dot set inside red, and there are tons of painted pink panels and gross green highlights in addition to a smattering of paint specks. This is a good one - even if you don't do the Halloween thing, you could see this in a Sandcrawler or Jabba's Palace somewhere. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,288: Greedo (Cantina Adventure Set - The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, October 28, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Greedo (Cantina Adventure Set - The Vintage Collection). Now that's a toy with personality. Bright colors, side-eye, decent articulation, and a holster - it's about as good as you can expect from a modern-era collector figure. They don't want to throw in play features, but very few original figures had any. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,287: Senni Tonnika (Cantina - The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, October 23, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Senni Tonnika (Cantina - The Vintage Collection). She was near the top of a very short list of figures that it seemed Hasbro (and Kenner) might never make - but here we are! In the 1990s we were hoping for a figure with six joints and now we've got a super-articulated figure with a separately molded wig, a blaster, a glass, and an alternate hand. You can't ask for much more here, other than maybe a reissue for those who skipped out on the HasLab Cantina. Read on!
