It's pretty cool and you might be at your local Target, where it has been an exclusive for last year, for as little as $9 depending on the week. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Human Male Rebel Pilot (Rebel Pilots set, The Vintage Collection). What if Hasbro gave Luke a different head? Well, they did, and here it is. Pilots without vehicles are probably the troopers I need the least, but it was a well-executed design and now you can have it take up space somewhere. It's not bad - it's just not as interesting as the rest of the set. Since it's  not based on any obvious on-screen character (or off-screen, as far as I know) I wouldn't call it essential.  It's the kind of thing that may make you go "do I still want to collect them all?" Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: C1-RN8W (Pride Collection, Droid Factory). He's a newish release and has a lot of color for a black repaint - and moving arms, and removable dishes, and wheels. You've seen the mold, but the deco is new. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Dr. Evazan (The Retro Collection). I haven't opened every figure in the set yet, but this is an early favorite. The 2025 Target exclusive is a new sculpt with a very good head sculpt - better than the 1997 Kenner POTF2 version - and purple pants. He has two blasters, so you can give one to an old unarmed Walrus Man if you have one around. (One of my old Kenner Walrus Men makes a cameo in this one.) The set is currently out of stock near me, but that doesn't mean it's gone for good - keep an eye out, and I'd recommend you get one (or two, or three) of this set if you see it.

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Stormtrooper (Epic World of Action Mech Force Suit). It's pretty cool and you might actually find it in a store near you. The Trooper has added joints compared to last year, plus an unusual pattern of red circuits and forearm splash color. The suit itself has clear red fists, a big blaster, and generally looks fun. It stinks that we're not getting any Retro vehicles after seven years, but at least Epic is delivering some interesting new toys for people to overlook. So go get one. Read on!

Her lightsaber hilt hangs on her belt, the armor has a lot of detail, and the articulation is very good. How you get her hair right - even with a separately molded wig - seems like quite a challenge. He's basically the same size as the 2006 The Saga Collection release, but a completely new sculpt, but colored like the 1996 figure, but given accessories to touch on nearly every Hammerhead toy. And a bonus alternate hand for his drink. If you have all the existing Ithorian toys you could want, you may not need this one - but the added articulation, lower cloth robes, and ability to sit in a booth may make it worth your while to pick up if you see one. The general sculpt is similar to last year's 5-jointed figure, but with new circuit deco and added joints. You can get a non-circuit-deco one packaged individually, but this fancy weird one comes with a giant mech suit. It's silly, but it's also a toy, and we don't get a lot of "real toy" releases these days. It's worth a gander. Read on!

He has a left-handed draw holster and a cape, plus a really good head. You won't be seeing him in stores anymore... and I don't know if I ever actually did see him in the wild. It's that, with some blue, and a giant robot suit. (Weirdly, my sample has two of the same lower leg.) It stands out from the basic release thanks to the blue bits, and it's a goofy - but neat - toy. This is the previous Rebels Thrawn with a new blaster, new head, and new shades of blue. It shares parts with Motti, Piett, and other Imperial officer figures from the last few years. If you're not Thrawn-ed out, this is a figure you can pick up that could well be Ship Of Theseused into a new version when season 2 of Ahsoka comes out - but it's the best one right now. Read on!
