Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,256: IT-0 Interrogation Droid (with Darth Vader, Epic Hero Series)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, July 8, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: IT-0 Interrogation Droid (with Darth Vader, Epic Hero Series). It's on clearance! The Target exclusive set from last year gives you 2 basic carded figures with 2 exclusive droid sidekicks. The price has been anywhere from $9 to $20 with a few stops in between, and I'd strongly recommend it Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,252: MSE-6 Droid (with Epic Hero Series Stormtrooper)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, June 24, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: MSE-6 Droid (with Epic Hero Series Stormtrooper). It's pretty cool and you might be at your local Target, where it has been an exclusive for last year, for as little as $9 depending on the week. The Trooper is the same as the 2023 release, but it has a little MSE6-6 droid buddy. That's worthwhile! Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,251: Human Male Rebel Pilot (Rebel Pilots set, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, June 19, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Human Male Rebel Pilot (Rebel Pilots set, The Vintage Collection). What if Hasbro gave Luke a different head? Well, they did, and here it is. Pilots without vehicles are probably the troopers I need the least, but it was a well-executed design and now you can have it take up space somewhere. It's not bad - it's just not as interesting as the rest of the set. Since it's  not based on any obvious on-screen character (or off-screen, as far as I know) I wouldn't call it essential.  It's the kind of thing that may make you go "do I still want to collect them all?" Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,250: C1-RN8W (Pride Collection, Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, June 17, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: C1-RN8W (Pride Collection, Droid Factory). He's a newish release and has a lot of color for a black repaint - and moving arms, and removable dishes, and wheels. You've seen the mold, but the deco is new. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,249: Dr. Evazan (The Retro Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, June 12, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Dr. Evazan (The Retro Collection). I haven't opened every figure in the set yet, but this is an early favorite. The 2025 Target exclusive is a new sculpt with a very good head sculpt - better than the 1997 Kenner POTF2 version - and purple pants. He has two blasters, so you can give one to an old unarmed Walrus Man if you have one around. (One of my old Kenner Walrus Men makes a cameo in this one.) The set is currently out of stock near me, but that doesn't mean it's gone for good - keep an eye out, and I'd recommend you get one (or two, or three) of this set if you see it.

Also the link works now.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,248: Stormtrooper (Epic World of Action Mech Force Suit)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, June 10, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Stormtrooper (Epic World of Action Mech Force Suit). It's pretty cool and you might actually find it in a store near you. The Trooper has added joints compared to last year, plus an unusual pattern of red circuits and forearm splash color. The suit itself has clear red fists, a big blaster, and generally looks fun. It stinks that we're not getting any Retro vehicles after seven years, but at least Epic is delivering some interesting new toys for people to overlook. So go get one. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,247: Shin Hati (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, June 5, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Shin Hati (The Vintage Collection). The costume and lightsaber look great! I'm not sure the wig and nose are right. Her lightsaber hilt hangs on her belt, the armor has a lot of detail, and the articulation is very good. How you get her hair right - even with a separately molded wig - seems like quite a challenge. Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,246: J7R-T (The Book of Boba Fett, Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, June 3, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: J7R-T (The Book of Boba Fett, Droid Factory). He's a newish release that sold out online quickly. He has salad plates. The dome isn't a perfect match for the show, but he's pretty good - check it out and keep your eyes open in case they show up in a theme park or elsewhere. Read on!

Star Wars Review: Imperial Security Bureau (Imperial Officers set, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, May 29, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Imperial Security Bureau (Imperial Officers set, The Vintage Collection). There are very few ISB figures, and this one from 2023 can be yours! If you already bought it! Because it sold out! It's pretty good. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,244: Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, May 27, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead, The Vintage Collection) . He's basically the same size as the 2006 The Saga Collection release, but a completely new sculpt, but colored like the 1996 figure, but given accessories to touch on nearly every Hammerhead toy. And a bonus alternate hand for his drink. If you have all the existing Ithorian toys you could want, you may not need this one - but the added articulation, lower cloth robes, and ability to sit in a booth may make it worth your while to pick up if you see one. Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,243: Mandalorian Fleet Commander (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, May 22, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Mandalorian Fleet Commander (The Vintage Collection). This figure has no specific name, but he has an alternate head and probably isn't something you saw in stores very much. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,242: Darth Vader (Epic World of Action Mech Force Suit)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, May 20, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Darth Vader (Epic World of Action Mech Force Suit). The general sculpt is similar to last year's 5-jointed figure, but with new circuit deco and added joints. You can get a non-circuit-deco one packaged individually, but this fancy weird one comes with a giant mech suit. It's silly, but it's also a toy, and we don't get a lot of "real toy" releases these days. It's worth a gander. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,241: Director Orson Krennic (The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, May 15, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Director Orson Krennic (The Vintage Collection). It makes use of the general construction most Imperials from the past few years. He has a left-handed draw holster and a cape, plus a really good head. You won't be seeing him in stores anymore... and I don't know if I ever actually did see him in the wild. Well, go get one online, it's good. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,240: The Mandalorian (Epic World of Action Mech Force Suit)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, May 13, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Mandalorian (Epic World of Action Mech Force Suit) . You know the new mold we looked at last week together? It's that, with some blue, and a giant robot suit. (Weirdly, my sample has two of the same lower leg.) It stands out from the basic release thanks to the blue bits, and it's a goofy - but neat - toy. Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 3,239: Grand Admiral Thrawn (Live-Action, The Vintage Collection)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, May 8, 2025

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Grand Admiral Thrawn (Live-Action, The Vintage Collection). This is the previous Rebels Thrawn with a new blaster, new head, and new shades of blue. It shares parts with Motti, Piett, and other Imperial officer figures from the last few years. If you're not Thrawn-ed out, this is a figure you can pick up that could well be Ship Of Theseused into a new version when season 2 of Ahsoka comes out - but it's the best one right now. Read on!
