Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Mandalorian (Epic Hero Series). This is a very nice figure - it doesn't have all of the deco as other similarly sized figures, but it's a better figure. The exaggerated bright silver Beskar armor is gorgeous, the Darksaber is fantastic, the pistol ain't bad, and the cape is a clip-on around the neck. He can fit in your The Vintage Collection vehicles, too. He's also really easy to find at Walmart as they seem to be getting solid cases of just Mando, and also Darth Vader, but Mando is the better figure. Read on!

What was revealed?

Currently a mere $27,000, this Heritage Auctions listing for Spaceballs (MGM, 1987), Group of (5) Spaceballs Action Figures are the real deal - that is to say, movie props, as there are no licensed action figures for the movie.

There's clearly demand for these, and if you really want them, this auction listing ends in two days.

In it, you get Barf, Lone Starr, Princess Vespa, Dot Matrix, and of course, Dark Helmet.

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Ahsoka Tano (Epic Hero Series). This is a new mold, and I've seen her online and in the cardboard Easter dumps at Walmart - and this is a great figure. Other than the lack of a waist joint, she feels like a sturdy 1990s figure with nice clear lightsabers, the ability to stand easily, and freely moving joints. In short, this one is a toy first and is all the better for it. I'd recommend picking her up - the face sculpt is really excellent. Read on!

This is from a few years ago, but I wanted to finally pop him out of the blister from 2015 and take some pictures. This came out of the parts bins, so your best bet to getting one is eBay - and some of those prices aren't that bad, all things considered. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Paige (Resistance Gunner, The Last Jedi Line Look). In my never-ending quest to alienate the remaining readers of this site, I went to my pile of unopened figures and pulled out this gem from 2017. She's good - you skipped her and when you see her at a shop, she's not worth anything, but this is a good figure. Take a look at the removable helmet, the perfectly painted eyes, the removable oxygen mask, and the fine sculpting. The limbs all swing nicely and she stands with no problems. All parties involved did an amazing job having this figure ready for Force Friday The Last Jedi edition, before anybody knew she had no lines in the movie and the vehicle she was in wouldn't get a toy. Odds are you won't track her down if you haven't already done so, but if you stumble on her? This is a well-made figure. Read on!

A new figure is coming! Well, it's here because Healey Made put up the TROOPER (HYPER RECON) for $25. We've covered other versions of this Kenner-esque 3 3/4-inch figure, which may fit in nicely with some of your retro or ReAction or actual vintage toys.

The rumors are true - maybe! Walmart posted a listing for a Imaginext STAR WARS Darth Vader Bot 2 Ft Toy Lights Sounds Stormtrooper Diecast Character Key, meaning that two of my favorite things are coming together - Star Wars and Imaginext from Fisher-Price/Mattel. (Could Playmobil be next? I can dream.) A second set is making the rounds on some image servers, and that's a giant R2-D2 with a die-cast metal C-3PO figure. Now if you're paying attention, you'll note a pattern is emerging.

So far, the leaks have resulted in a giant R2-D2 (with a non-specific playset environment that you could squint and see as a Death Star or Blockade Runner) and a giant Darth Vader (with no obvious playset landmarks) at very high price points. As I write this I haven't heard anything about these through official channels, so I'm just speculating here - but this could be the result of licensing demands, so as not to step on Hasbro's feet.  Historically Imaginext has had single figures, blind-bag figures, 2-packs, small vehicles, medium playsets, and sometimes gargantuan toys as big as a coffee table.   It's the real deal, and you'll probably find some of them at your local Goodwill on the cheap.

Imaginext toys have been around for over 20 years, and have slowly exited most toy aisles - there used to be a big section at Kohl's, Toy R Us had a massive aisle. Right now the line has what's left of Lightyear (on clearance somewhere near you, but good toys), Batman/DC, and Jurassic World. Some non-licensed items also may be out there still, but again, distribution in American stores has been lousy for the last year. I have no idea what exactly we'll see from this line, but so far, we know two things: it's expensive, and it's proof that someone out there believes in playsets and action features in toys, made for kids, again.
