Let's look at the Disney park exclusive R2-Series Astromech Droid Silver and Purple (not R4-M6).    It really is close to R4-M6, though, just made of build-a-droid parts with slightly less paint.   Should you get this new-for-2015 figure?  Read on!

Let's look at the new, cartoon-inspired, desert gear version of Clone Commander Wolffe.  The good news - it's well-designed, with a great cloth "skirt" that is the best we've ever seen.  The bad news - he is indeed a little short for a Clone Trooper.  Read on!

This new Han Solo from what may be one of the last waves (that we know of) for the 3 3/4-inch The Black Series is here!  He's cool - as in frozen - and loaded with articulation. Despite this he can't quite perfectly use his handcuffs, but the carbonite block is new and it's quite nice.  Read on!

We looked at a Black Series Stormtrooper, but not this Black Series Stormtrooper!  There was another one of those trademark running changes, you see.  This one?  New helmet.   It's still basically the same construction as the Sandtrooper you got with a Dewback a few years ago, and if you didn't, shame on you.    It's pretty good - it comes on the newer TIE Pilot blue cardback if you want one.  Read on!

Check out Captain Rex!   This Black Series 3 3/4-inch "realistic" figure can be found now at a store near you, if you are lucky.

"Is that a new figure?" is probably one of the most common questions I'm asked here.  This Chewbacca just came out a few months ago and the answer is... sort of.  There's a new head with a great roaring expression and hair based on the original film, which makes this sort of a super-articulated version of the 1978 original.   I quite like it - and you might too.  Read on!

Hasbro adds Season 2 Rex and the second Inquisitor to their booth. These figures are slated for release in Spring 2016 along with Mission Series Ahsoka Tano and Darth Vader. Rex features a nice removable helmet that perfectly on his bald and bearded noggin. Here's hoping a Season 2 Wolf is not far behind, although this figure will be probably require swappable heads.

Some official photos of 2016 product revealed on Thursday have been added to our SDCC Image Bank that include The Black Series, Saga Legends, and Titanium vehicles. Captain Rex appears to have suffered from lack of eating healthy gluten free meals at the Clone Cafeteria. 

If there's one thing you can bet on for Hasbro Star Wars in 2016, it's that you're gonna need a heck of a lot more room. We have uploaded photos featuring Hasbro's The Black Series 2016 reveals yesterday that include a couple of new Star Wars Rebels additions to the 6 inch assortment and a vehicle that can also serve as a coffee table or T.V. stand it's so freakin huge.

Argle bargle panel! It's dark, it's noon, and I'm sitting near the back of a partially filled conference room. Jeff Labovitz is starting the talk with a bunch of other people whose names are too far away for me to see with all the heads in the way.

Hasbro plans on the big reveals after their SDCC panel today at 12 PT. While the bulk of Episode 7 product won't be officially released until Force Friday in September, we've been told there will be some exciting reveals today. Be sure to check back for our report.
