Walmart Exclusive Clone Wars Vehicles Arrive, Canceled Toys On Packaging

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, December 2, 2011

They were originally slated to hit in August, but Wal-Mart's exclusive pair of mini vehicles hit stores this week. Our pal MeisterShake on Twitter gave me the tip, and I checked two local Wal-Marts and sure enough, they were both stocked with the vehicles at just under $17 each. (Oh, and they have shots of canceled toys on the boxes.)

Click through for a few images and impressions, after the break.

AT-RT Walker with ARF Trooper and BARC Speeder Bike with Clone Trooper Buzz

The AT-RT Walker with ARF Trooper and BARC Speeder Bike with Clone Trooper Buzz are, interestingly, delayed for a very long time. How long? Well, you might be surprised. These were originally announced in July for an August release, but only just showed up literally this week and it was sort of surprising.

More surprising? These things were produced in March of 2011 (date stamps of 10661), and the packaging actually shows the two now-canceled Republic Recon Fighter and Boba Fett Speeder Bike vehicles.

Buzz is based on the Jesse mold, complete with ball-jointed hips. Oddly, his belt is assembled upside-down, but other than that he looks pretty good. I'll be cracking both him and the ARF Trooper open shortly and you'll be seeing the pair of them in Figure of the Day over the coming month. (Hey, I gotta be quick at this stuff.)

At press time there were no sightings of the Geonosian Zombie-themed DVD 2-packs announced around the same time.
