Favorite reading provider of reading material The AV Club posted this article, "Before Star Wars, George Lucas was an indie filmmaker" on the early days of his career and the movie THX-1138 which odds are a lot of you haven't seen still. Variety Dates Episodes VII and Beyond

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, April 17, 2013

At CinemaCon, according to Variety, release dates for the next three Star Wars flicks were listed.  Oh joyous day!   Chief of Disney Studios Alan Horn was talking about the upcoming Disney slate which is jam-packed full of sequels, movies with Johnny Depp, and other "safe" blockbusters the likes of which will astound modern man that this is the same company that put out Wall-E in just a few years.  But where was I?  Right, dates.

Patrol Dewback Star Wars Dog Costume

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, April 16, 2013

Proving that Lucasfilm was in an era that would license absolutely anything, here's a Dewback Dog Costume.  This is apparently a real thing, and I for one am appalled.  We used to  be in a marketplace where the line had a little more integrity than this.  I can only imagine how humiliated that dog will be when his labradoodle neighbor mocks him for having a Stormtrooper on his back instead of a Sandtrooper.
