The new Star Wars  Obi-Wan Kenobi (Force Spirit) hit in September, and our pal Phil is already finding them for $14.99!  I haven't even seen these in all stores in my area yet, but they are making the rounds.   In most major cities you can throw a rock and hit a Walgreens, or two.  

If you're lucky you might also find some basic figures from the newer waves next to this Force Spirit.   Happy hunting!

Based on the increasingly controversial new Battlefront II game, the Inferno Squad Agent is GameStop's exclusive TIE Pilot with a Stormtrooper belt and some new red paint.  I like it.  Read on!

One good droid deserves another - the BB-8 (Droid Factory Line Look) is a newish mold!   He's bigger than Hasbro's, but the deco is different - not better, not worse.  Neither seems truly superior, but this one is bigger and a little bit more adorable thanks to the eye seeming to have more life in it.  Read on!

You loved "Untitled Star Wars Project," now look forward to "Untitled Star Wars Trilogy!"   StarWars.com and other outlets confirmed Rian Johnson, Writer-Director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, to Create All-New Star Wars Trilogy.  This means that the film saga under Disney has about 8 confirmed feature-length installments, including these new ones about.... something.  If nothing else we get the hint that Disney and Lucasfilm liked working with him, which bodes well for this December's movie.  Click here to read more.  Or feel free to begin commenting on speculation of what you'd like to see.  I want a crazy movie of aliens, droids, and suited-up people.

Not from Hasbro!  Disney's 2BB-2 (Droid Factory Line Look) is pretty slick and, for some reason, have the lettering backward.  Go figure.  It's a neat robot that looks kind of like a globe of Earth.  Read on!

The guillotine continues.  The USA Today and others are reporting Another 60-plus Sears, Kmart stores set to close in January 2018; see the list.   It's less a strategy for competitiveness than it is an ever-decreasing trek toward obscurity, marching toward the same place in our culture held by Montgomery Word, Woolworths, or Kay-Bee Toys.   As far as we know Hasbro is no longer offering Kmart or Sears exclusive toy product, but it's increasingly difficult to verify this first-hand.
