The Unleashed style cardback art was a big hit with collectors a few years ago. The bold and vibrant style showed Star Wars characters in their most fantastic action packed forms. The latest Deluxe Figure and Vehicle sets have been found by Mickey Gunslinger at the Scottsdale, Arizona Super Walmart. These include the AT-RT with ARF Trooper Boil. I've been throwing up all day so I'll make this brief: Admiral Ackbar is a fantastic figure.  Heck, the whole wave is really excellent-- find out what you're missing when you read on!

Military figures are a big part of Hasbro's DNA. But let's face it, their attempts at Rebels many times fall short. Perhaps it's because Rebel outfits aren't as flashy and sexy as Imperials? Until now. This new Rebel Commando brings promise that an ultimate Tantive IV Trooper is in our near future. With awesome sculpt detail and nice super articulation so you can battle pose him in all sorts of ways, we can only hope that head variants are planned for a later time.

By the way, we're almost sure this headsculpt is of a certain Hasbro Star Wars team sculptor.

Today let's look at Palpatine, a figure which has multiple variants, spare parts, and basically just stands there and swings his arm.  Is this a must-buy figure, or should you wait for some super-poseable one in ten years?  Read on!

At last, Bar2-D2 has been upgraded for the 2010 Vintage Collection and he's a real winner with a removable drink tray, sensorscope, and even Luke's lightsaber. He's got an all new sculpt and a retractable third leg too. R2-D2 is hitting store pegs now and we recommend you picking him up along with all the other winners in this wave!

UPDATE: We have added a few additional shots to get a better idea of Hasbro's slightly scaling down this more "accurate" version of our favorite blue astromech. We also thought a gratuitous "Happy Hour" shot wouldn't hurt either. Cheers!

Next up is the artist formerly known as Klaatu. Wooof comes with a removable helmet and bandolier to complement his great looking sculpt. The soft goods skirt is also nicely screen accurate.What can we say? This whole ROTJ wave is the bees knees!

One other note, which you may have noticed when perusing our Image Bank, is that the newly shipping cards are coming UNPUNCHED! This particular case we received had all the ROTJ cards in UP condition along with the one Anakin Skywalker card (sadly, it isn't the "Darth Vader" running change version).

Best. Jedi Luke. Ever. After last year's BAD release received much haranguing from collectors due to its barrel chest and disproportions, Hasbro releases the most "ultimate" version so far, with a striking head sculpt likeness similar to the way they nailed the TVC Bespin version. . A removable cloak would have been nice, but the overall result isn't diminished at all. 

It's a...triumph in plastic likeness as Hasbro creates the ultimate Ackbar for the 2010 Vintage Collection. We can't say enough about the sculpt of this figure, and the accompanying control panel accessory would be even that much more fantastic if it actually connects to a command chair that's part of a Rebel command bridge play environment.

The McRib is back. It's just that this little piggy is a wonderful combination of masterfully sculpted detail and great articulation that clearly makes this the best Gamorrean Guard ever. With a cool removable helmet and a nicely done soft goods skirt, you'll want to pick up a few of these to upgrade your Jabba's Palace diorama a few notches to spectacular.
