Best Buy scored one of the best exclusives of the year - now on their web site and probably out of stock - with the new Star Wars - The Black Series Heavy Infantry Mandalorian Deluxe Action Figure.  This appears in The Mandalorian streaming series, and since we are not considering product announcements to be spoilers unless it has a specific feature (i.e., decapitation) we're going to go ahead and post it here. 

If you are going to D-Con, Anaheim's Designer Con, this weekend be sure to stop by booth #3028 to see Cappy Space.  You can pick up CPs&Qs AV Robot or R-Toolio there, or order it on this web site right here.  These are Glyos-compatible figures and mix with The Outer Space Men as well as those 3 3/4-inch My Hero Academia figures you see at the GameStop.  They look pretty sharp.

CPs&Qs AV Robot is a gold recolor of the Nemo's Factory AV Robot, while R-Toolio is a clever redeco of the Onell Design Hub set.

The R4 Astromech (Color-Changing Droids, Droid Factory, Galaxy's Edge) is pretty amazing.  When warm, it's a white and green R4 unit. When chilled, it's black.  In between it looks like it's an oily, used mess - it's really impressive.  Read on!

It's not really an exaggeration to say a lot of 3 3/4-inch figure products aren't being given any sort of announcement.  This is especially true of many of the Disney theme park figures, like this one.   I didn't know about this CZ Protocol Droid (Color-Changing Droids, Droid Factory, Galaxy's Edge)  until it popped up on eBay and my pal Shannon got me its 4-pack, the other 4-pack, and a Droid Factory playset with the color-change droids on his next visit to Disneyland. (Thank you, Shannon!)  The figure mold is nothing new, but the color-change paint is quite impressive.  In warm temperatures, it's white, when it gets cold, it turns red.  And it looks sort of like a crab leg if you touch it.   Read on!

It's Luke with a new head, but Wedge Antilles (The Black Series 6-Inch)  is pretty good.  You get a great portrait, a blaster, a helmet, and possibly the wrong haircut.  It's hard to know for sure - but you can read on!

The show is on today - I haven't seen it yet - but The Mandalorian (The Black Series 6-Inch) is a figure you can get now! It's armored, you can see some Scarif Trooper armor, and it looks cool.   The coloring looks like something that would fit in with Jabba's entourage, but for now he'll just wander the shelves.  Read on!

Available in a 2-pack at Target with an unmasked head, this Supreme Leader Kylo Ren (Galaxy of Adventures 5-Inch)  is pretty great.  Complete with lightsaber and cloak, he can slash and cut and fight and do all the crazy things you want him to do.  Read on!

The newish Rey (Galaxy of Adventures 5-Inch) is probably on a peg in a store near you, which is wrong, it should be in your house.  She's loaded with articulation, the paint job is fantastic, and there are good accessories and a working blaster holster.  And she's only ten bucks.  Read on!

Now available and pretty easy to find, the D-O (Galaxy of Adventures 5-Inch) comes as part of a pretty good 3-pack.  It's the smallest figure in the set, complete with an articulated neck and hair.  As of now the 3 3/4-inch D-O is exclusive to a Disney parks gift set - so should you get this cheaper and easier to find set instead? Game of Thrones TV masterminds David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are no longer developing Star Wars movies, so says every major trade including Variety.  For those keeping track, there's a lot in development still like several streaming shows, the Rian Johnson movies, and the barely-whispered-about Feige-headed project.  And probably more.  It looks like the future for streaming is a lot brighter than the silver screen, but at this point it is kind of tough to know what is going to happen next.

Today let's look at that under-distributed Maz Kanata Holographic figure sold in a 5-pack that seemed to show up more in Europe than the USA.  It's Maz, but clear blue.  It'll go great with your Mirage, Cobra Commander, and Darth Vader holographic figures... and maybe your clear blue Glyos figures and 90 other clear blue guys.  Read on!
