Crossposted from 16bit.com! I loves me some Star Wars. 3 3/4-inch figures are best, especially the retro ones. Hasbro had The Book of Boba Fett wave of The Retro Collection online with Boba Fett, a Tusken Raider, Cad Bane, Luke Skywalker (black robe and no blaster), Grogu, Mando, Fennec Shand, and Tusken Boba. It's a nice selection.

The Boba/Jabba/Bib throne room was on display, as were tons of lightsabers and other recent reveals. Even some Ahsoka toys were there, including a swell hat, a lightsaber, and a Chopper droid toy. You may have seen a few of these before, or not - the Mission Fleet sets were, I think, at least partially new.
We are experincing some road-related technical problems so SDCC updates will have to wait until the weekend - but this was written early, so here goes!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Like Skywalker (Imperial Light Cruiser, The Black Series). You liked him in The Mandalorian, and you'll probably appreciate that this figure is changed a little bit of what you expect in Return of the Jedi, but with a different vest and belt buckle and a black cloak. Via the Glyos News Dump: Healey Made THX Trooper Live Now. This is the long-expected and anticipated Stormtrooper colorway of this really good figure. Some are still in stock, so grab it if you can.
Via the Glyos News Dump: A New Healey Made Drop Wednesday. Is it purple? I don't know - but this indie 3 3/4-inch action figure will be up at 6:00 PM Wednesday, July 19 at the Healey Made Shop. They go great with your old retro Kenner figures.
Well, that's a surprise. Making the rounds on social media is this Return of the Jedi The Retro Collection Kenner-style 6-pack form, allegedly, Hasbro and Kenner. You get the Emperor's Royal Guard, Gamorrean Guard, Wicket the Ewok, and Admiral Ackbar - all good figures. But what's super exciting is you also allegedly get Yak Face and a brand-new old-style Mon Mothma. This was supposedly posted by In Demand Toys, and has not been revealed in an official capacity as of yet. I hope it's real and real nearby.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: R5 Unit (Yellow, 2023 Pride Collection). It's bright, it has a red dot on it, and the yellow lighter highlights pop nicely. The darker yellow painted parts are hard to notice. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: (The Retro Collection). Slightly more compelling than the title character of Andor, A Kenner R2-D2-esque droid made a cameo in a trailer yesterday, but I plan these things weeks in advance - what a coincidence! The 1978 droid always looked a little weird, but now you can get a nearly-perfect one at a decent price. It's just as good as I remember, and in better shape, so I'd recommend it to Kenner fanatics. We had two reveals today. One (pictured) is Collider's 'The Book of Boba Fett's Black Krrsantan Heads to SDCC With Epic New Hasbro Figure [Exclusive], a $40 variant of a $28 pre-order you forgot you made already. Pre-order QR codes will be distributed at San Diego Comic-Con International next week. It is worth noting the variant has an alternate head, so you may want both versions or you may be perfectly happy with the cheaper (and I think better-looking) closed-mouth main line version. The pre-order for the standard release shows a lot of those accessories, so unless someone made an error the plussed-up more-expensive edition may not even be worth your while.
The other is Fandom's reveal of Starkiller Strikes in New Force Unleashed Star Wars The Black Series Figure Set, a $110.99 set that gives you two figures you got for around $19.99 in 2020 and one new figure. This one is slated for Hasbro's PulseCon event, which usually is a pre-recorded showing of new stuff over a weekend in September.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Paz Vizsla (The Vintage Collection). This one is kind of fascinating - it shows what Hasbro can do with a higher budget. They decided to make a more expensive figure, so elements that would normally be painted - like the yellow armor - are now molded in color. He has more gear and more articulation, plus tons of paint applications. Is he great? Absolutely. Is it worth $28 instead of a simpler figure at $10-$15 with less stuff? Maybe - but at least you can see where the money went here. Read on!

: R4 Unit (Orange, 2023 Pride Collection). Your unsurprising summary: they took an old mold, made it taste like Orange Crush, and now it's awesome. I hope you picked this set up, this is the kind of creative "it still seems like it fits in the toy box" look I'd like to see more often. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Jawa (The Retro Collection). With a slightly different hood sculpt, this little guy's cloth hood is a spectacularly good match of the original. I like the detail, the color change is interesting, and it's one of the better remakes. They even changed the blaster color a bit -so you can add him to your sandcrawler and he still looks different enough to be interesting. Read on!
