Ad: Get your Star Wars The Black Series Admiral Piett 6-Inch Action Figure - Exclusive! You won't find him in big box stores, and he's $21.99 right now.
Let's look at Han Solo (Speeder, Solo: A Star Wars Story Line Look)! He has a new outfit, a head that looks like Han but not really like the new actor - which means, we can now assume this is intentional - and a blue speeder that looks a lot like a book. I like it. Read on!
New from Hasbro - if you can find it - is this Dewback with Sandtrooper (The Black Series 6-Inch)! It's big and neat and probably sold out at a store near you. It mixes elements of the newer CG Dewbacks with the original prop puppet, resulting in a surprisingly well-made lizard with articulated toes. And an articulated tongue. Find a better Dewback, I dare you. Read on!
While we haven't seen it in the movies, the Range Trooper (The Black Series 6-Inch) is pretty cool. There's a fuzzy collar that looks good, bits and pieces that look cobbled together from Snowtroopers and Beachtroopers. I like it - but will we like the movie? I don't know. Read on!
One of the biggest hits of the new launch is Grand Moff Tarkin (The Black Series 6-Inch) . There's a lot of good stuff - but this one is great. He has a torture droid and easily the best "classic" likeness on one of these figures yet! Read on.
Lifelike but Aiden-ish, the Han Solo (Solo, The Black Series 6-Inch) is pretty good. Nice costume, good articulation, excellent paint. And you can find it online or at a store near you - read on!
I assume you have bought or are buying the Lando Calrissian (Solo, The Black Series 6-Inch) because it's really cool. Removable scarf, removable cape, blaster with removable silencer/barrel/whatever - it's a lot of plastic, and the Donald Glover likeness is really good. Read on!
If you like barely-different variations, Rey (Crait Defense) has salt shoes. She's a lot like the other figures you bought last year, but hey, salt shoes. Read on!
From the 4-pack, the First Order Walker Driver (The Last Jedi Line Look) is a great addition to your figure stash - but there's no vehicle for it to pilot just yet. It's cool though, with added grey stripes to distinguish it from the half dozen or so Snowtroopers you bought since 2015. Read on!
So check out Rose (Crait Defense) from the four-pack from The Last Jedi. It's cool! She has her necklace, and what's left of her First Order uniform. And a blaster. She's one of the cooler figures in the set, so assuming you didn't already buy one and are just looking to have your good sense of taste reenforced read on!
UPDATE: The item was backed with 8,840 Sail Barges sold, over the 5,000 goal.
HasLab's Star Wars Sail Barge now has over 7,600 supporters. Obviously some must be doubling up, but that ain't bad - ends in just under 12 hours. For those who haven't been following along at home, the vehicle includes a Yak Face on a Power of the Force cardback (seemingly with a slightly different image and Canadian-style layout) and needed 5,000 people to buy it for Hasbro to start production. It's $499.99 plus applicable tax, and currently only ships to the USA and Canada unless you go through a third-party or set up your own freight forwarder.
The Maz Kanata (The Black Series 6-Inch) is pretty neat - but small! There's a ton of painted detail and great sculpting here, but the shorter character looks to be a normal sized 3 3/4-inch figure in a big box. She has a trunk, a blaster, and a lightsaber. Read on!
A surge of support on the HasLab Sail Barge came Wednesday morning after EW.com and StarWars.com posted Check Out New Photos of the Fully-Painted Jabba’s Sail Barge Prototype from Hasbro. While we all expected to see painted pictures before the end of the funding period, we didn't expect that it might include a bonus. Now take notes on this part, some fans are unclear and you're going to be one of the smart ones.
It's the First Order Gunner (The Last Jedi Line Look)! He's in The Last Jedi 4-pack hitting now, and looks pretty sharp for a figure with almost no paint. You'll want a few. Read on!
