Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: R4-M9 (The Retro Collection). This one includes a third leg that's similar to the old Droid Factory leg, but sized to fit Retro R2-D2 and R4-M9. He has the clicking dome and a sticker, but lacks a screw in the body to take it apart. Hasbro switched to a rivet. Also, this figure is just barely too big to put in your Kenner-era 1983 Y-Wing fighter -- so do not put R4 in your 1980s Y-Wing. Getting it in is easy, getting it out is going to be a problem. Aside from that? It's great.
It's the 1978-style R2-D2 body with a new dome that's a little over designed with extra panel detail. That seems like something Kenner would have done in 1983-1985, so I'm not complaining - this is an excellent figure and the kind of new old figure I want in The Retro Collection. Read on!
