NYCC 2017 - Hasbro Star Wars The Black Series 6-Inch Action Figure Reveals

3428 The big figures are in this season, so we're happy to see new guys and more importantly, new old guys.    There are new movie characters, there are original trilogy characters, and one of my absolute favorites is getting a big upsizing!    In today's reveals, you'll find 5 new 6-inch action figures which could be in your hands over the next year.

Lando Calrissian is getting a new 6-inch scale Skiff Guard Disguise action figure, complete with pike and helmet.   The 1983 design is a classic that has been revisited more than once as a 3 3/4-inch action figure, but this is his Return of the Jedi 6-inch figure debut.

Ever since we got Boba Fett, Bossk, and IG-88, fans have been asking where the rest of the bounty hunters from The Empire Strikes Back are, as is the way of our people.  Today Hasbro confirmed 4-LOM and Dengar are both in the works, most likely for next year.   Denar has his backpack and multiple blasters, plus what seems to be a pretty fantastic design for a character that is basically made of leftover armor and mummy wrappings.   4-LOM is the protocol droid from Hell, complete with a rifle and what looks to be a stellar paint job.

From The Last Jedi comes DJ, about whom we know very little.  Benicio del Toro now spans the Marvel and Star Wars film series, meaning he just needs to cross over into one of Disney's live-action princess films.   I bet he would make a great Snow White.  The figure has a nifty set of weapons and a costume that looks more Earthy than usual.

3432 Joining him is Rey in a new costume with coat and weapons. Her pants have built-in kneepads and it appears that she's using the new Hasbro face-printing technique to put a portrait over the face sculpt, which could do wonders in giving these figures a little more life.  Let's just pray we never see the crooked ones, because that would be hilarious.
