The attack of the birds begins today as the new Star Wars Angry Birds app is now available for download for the iPhone for 99 cents and for the iPad for $2.99 . It is also on the Google Play Store in HD format for $2.99 and regular format for free (with ads).
So Adi Gallia got her last new figure around 2004, which was itself a retool of the 1999 figure, which wasn't that great in the first place. She can sit, and a Stass Allie figure was released at the same time that is, for all intents and purposes, the same dang figure. It's part of the Jedi High Council set, so fans elevate her higher than the figure deserves, and diorama display people will probably want this one too.
This R2-D2 is pretty slick, and has been released twice so far... each time as an exclusive. The uniquely sculpted figure has blown-open panels and exposed wiring, effectively making this a "dead" R2-D2. It's wonderful.
This week on The Clone Wars: A New Hope! If you wanted magic, "The Gathering" delivered by introducing several new characters on a rarely-seen planet. Best of all, this episode was actually fun to watch. I'm actually jealous of kids who get to see this as children, I think I'd have been pretty stoked to have seen this at age 6 or 7. It's also probably the cutest thing you as a Star Wars fan will ever see on television. As always, spoilers and video await you!
Ahhh this is a good one. Thanks to my pal Shannon for helping me to get the Black R6 Series Astromech Droid, one of my favorites from the new Droid Factory at Disney Hollywood Studios Orlando. Is it worth tracking down?
Amazon now has the internet only Vintage Wave 7 IN STOCK including the new Vintage Collection Royal Guard , Nien Nunb, Republic Trooper, Weequay, Ahsoka, Clone Wars Obi-Wan, Lumat, and more!
It was a damp, dreary November evening but The Force was strong inside a repurposed Chicken Ranch that housed the greatest Star Wars collection in the world. Rancho Obi-Wan celebrates one year since their Grand Re-Opening on November 5th and we wanted to offer a congratulations and thanks to Steve Sansweet and Anne Neuman for a fantastic place collectors and fans of a galaxy far, far away can call a Mecca.
It's been exactly one week since the news broke: Disney buys Lucasfilm, Episode VII in 2015. It's a major change of course for a franchise that had long been declared dormant, and one that will have far-reaching impact on Star Wars collectors. On this week's Star Wars Action News podcast, Marjorie and Arnie take your voicemails, giving podcast listeners the stage to share their excitement and their trepidation about this news.
It's on sale for a couple of bucks off right now! The Target Special Edition Darth Maul Tin Fighter Pods Set should be widely available near you, and it's pretty good. Eight of the figures are repacks from series 1, but there are several unique clone troopers, a metallic Darth Maul, and the first-ever figure of Ziro the Hutt plus some uniquely-shaped pods. I won't lie to you, I happily paid full price for it just to get a Ziro. Check out all the new little figures after the break.
Here's an interesting one which shares a name with a popular menu item at a place like going for lunch. Shu Mai is a bright, colorful figure with excellent detail, limited articulation, and she's part of a pretty decent gift set that's actually pretty cheap these days.
We take a break from Q&A's break because blah blah blah Disney. Blah blah blah Angry Birds. Blah blah blah Hoth Han Solo hood variants. All this and much more await you in this week's Q&A! As always, enjoy, and write in a question for next time if you've got one.
