An auction of one of the most complete collections of loose Star Wars action figures will be launched on eBay Nov. 29 for the benefit of Rancho Obi-Wan. The auction is in conjunction with the one year anniversary of ROW and the release of the new book, Star Wars: The Ultimate Action Figure Collection.

It looks like it belongs to Mace Windu, but the Purple R6-Series Astromech Droid is one of many robots you can build at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando.  Well, maybe, getting the pieces you want is something of a trick.

Ahh, the Purple R3-Series Astromech Droid.  This Orlando exclusive is a pain in the next to get, but pretty neat because of the crystal-clear colorless dome and the purple detailing.  Should you get one?

The 2010 AT-AT was released to much fanfare and acclaim for its larger size, cool electronic action features, and movie inspired playability that outshone the older and oft used Kenner mold. A ToysRUs exclusive Vintage Collection Empire Strikes Back packaged version was also released during the holiday season of that year, and quickly sold out at a $110 pricepoint.

This week on The Clone Wars: We end the Young Jedi story with "A Necessary Bond," which ties together plot points from several previous episodes into a pretty awesome conclusion. Count Dooku takes revenge of Hondo Ohnaka for kidnapping? It's here! Remember a very specific ship that crashed on Florrum a few years ago? It's here too! The episode gets a little weird in spots but hey, at least it isn't boring.

Behold, the best-ever Watto action figure on the market today!  The price isn't bad, the deco is better than the 1999 version, plus he has a swell companion figure.  Do you know which one this is?  You will! 

Ah, Anakin Skywalker.  This is a pretty great figure, because it has good wrist movement and a swell cloth skirt piece which doesn't get in the way of it being a good toy.  It's also not impossible to find, and online prices aren't awful.  Want to know more?

Good morning, Hunters! It's that one day of the year where shoppers are convinced they're getting a great deal, when in reality, the savings are of small consequence compared to the pain of long lines, no parking, and grumpy people in general. For Star Wars collectors, ToysRUs and Walmart have their exclusive Black Friday deals we reported on earlier and they're actually pretty good.

If you can't afford Gentle Giant's animated maquettes, Hasbro's animated action figures like Obi-Wan Kenobi are a pretty good deal, largely because they are now sort of worthless.  There's a little bit of articulation, and it's a striking sculpt with strong lines.  On eBay, an entire collection is still ridiculous.  Should you get this one?
