Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,392: Imperial Royal Guard (The Black Series)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, August 2, 2017

Today: let's look at the not-common-enough Imperial Royal Guard (The Black Series) 6-inch action figure!  It's really cool - and the helmet isn't removable.  You do get armor under the robes, so custom Kir Kanos figures can't be far behind.   Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,391: R2-C2 (Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, July 31, 2017

Check out the R2-C2 (Droid Factory)! Disney's take on Ziro's droid has different glasses, a different drink spigot, and uses that build-a-droid mold.   Hasbro has one too as an Entertainment Earth Exclusive, and I'd say just get both - Ziro probably needs a lot of drinks.  Read on!

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, July 24, 2017

Take a look at R5-S9 (Droid Factory), it's blue! The colors don't match the show perfectly, but it's also not an animated figure.  You can find this The Clone Wars-inspired robot at Disney theme parks in a 4-pack, and of course we're going to look at them all.  Read on!

Q&A: 40th Anniversary, Star Wars Vintage, and Store Displays

By Adam Pawlus — Sunday, July 23, 2017

This week in Q&A - The 40th Anniversary Line! Everybody got what they wanted here, right? Nothing left on the table? And Blade Runner plus more Vintage stuff. Some things may not be destined for us all. Is it time for Hasbro to try in-store displays of figures? Probably not, but let's look at it anyway.

And send in your questions for next week. Read on!

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, July 19, 2017

SDCC - Reveals Continue with The Last Jedi Star Wars Figures

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, July 18, 2017

If you recall last year, Hasbro didn't announce its Jyn Erso exclusive until San Diego Comic-Con-goers were already on the ground.  This year, we may (because it wasn't officially announced yet) be seeing this Star Wars: The Black Series Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and Jedi In Training Rey 2-pack as seen on the Jedi Insider today.   It hasn't been officially announced at all, but it does look a lot like official Hasbro photography.  More as we have it!

By Adam Pawlus — Sunday, July 16, 2017

This week in Q&A - The AT-ACT! You probably didn't buy it - but what was up with the most expensive action figure vehicle for Star Wars ever made? And the coin card figures - will Hasbro do vintage-style figures with those metal coins? Also Fan's Choice, the surest way to stir fan discussion and death threats.

And send in your questions for next week. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,385: C1-10P "Chopper" (Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, July 10, 2017

A few months ago, Disney surprised us by releasing C1-10P "Chopper" - with tons of extra parts and articulation.  It's a The Vintage Collection figure in all but name and packaging!  The arm pops out. You can pop more arms in to his dome.  You can change out third legs... he has third legs.   It's great, get oneRead on!

You can read Transformation Update for more, or go right to the list of closures.
