This week in Q&A - Blu-Rays! Print is dead, but what about physical media? Price increases are real... but really inconsistent. RPG figures are far and few between, but we got some. Should we have expected more?
Also No Mando Spoilers for season 2 are in this week's installment. Next week? Who knows. So go watch it.
Be sure you send in your questions for next time. The mailbag is out of on-topic questions, so if you got some, send some in. Read on!
Sold in both 40th anniversary packaging and the new standard The Black Series boxes, Darth Vader (The Black Series 6-Inch) is partially new parts and partially old parts from a few years ago. No respect, I swear. Read on!
If you like repaints with extra guns, this Heavy Battle Droid (Gaming Greats, The Black Series 6-Inch) is perfect. Complete with Imperial and First Order tech, this uniquely painted Trade Federation trooper is just a little bit more interesting than your average droid. And as a GameStop exclusive, it's sold out unless they somehow find more in a bin somewhere. Read on!
A mishmash of droid parts, the BB-Series Droid (BB-8-style droid, black and silver body, black and silver head) adds the black repaint you know you want in your stash. Presumably. Black repaints of robots are a proud tradition and a sub-collection you'll find in many other toy lines, but are generally found overseas. Read on!
Now disappearing from Target is this exclusive BB-Series Droid (BB-9-style droid, red and silver body, white and red head) as part of a two-pack. It's cool! It's small. But it's not delicious - it may look like fruit, but it's a robot. Don't make the same mistake as some guy I just made up. Read on!
Amazon posted its Star Wars The Black Series Speeder Bike Scout Trooper and The Child Toys 6-Inch-Scale The Mandalorian Collectible Figure and Vehicle Set (Amazon Exclusive) today for $49.99, and this is an ad link where we might get a few pennies if you click it and order. (So please do.)
The set appears to be the 2014 Speeder Bike set with a new stand, new deco on everything, and a new satchel with a baby in it. I
Because your wallet deserves no mercy, Disney Parks (and ShopDisney.com) added Star Wars Droid Factory Figure – BB-H20 today. It's $12.99 plus tax and shipping - which puts it at a bit under $20. Typically when I've had to go for these on eBay, that's pretty close to the best price I've been able to find. The cardback illustration seems to place it on Crait from The Last Jedi, while the deco on the droid is certainly nondescript Christmas grab bag coloring.
Revealed today: Star Wars The Vintage Collection Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) and The Child Toys, 3.75-inch-Scale Figures, Only at Walmart. Pre-orders are live as of my writing this, and you can order one if you like - however Walmart has not delivered the items from the summer launches, so it's possible this also might get delayed a bit. Click here to order yours.
This week in Q&A - HasLab Death Star! Not a thing, but it'd be nice. Stretch goals! I like what we got so far. And repaints - well, so far, they sell!
Be sure you send in your questions for next time. The mailbag is out of on-topic questions, so if you got some, send some in. Read on!

Available in 40th anniversary packaging or in a 2-pack with Yoda, this Luke Skywalker (Dagobah, The Black Series 6-Inch) is a good one. The articulation is well-integrated, the accessories are well-selected, and the price of the two-pack is, well, high. Read on!
It's a R2-Series Astromech Droid (R2-Series silver dome with purple, white body with purple, bartender)! Why? No idea. This makes four flavors of drink droid, and as far as I know this one has no precedent in the movies, cartoons, comics, or games. Read on!
While we wait to find out what this year's holiday exclusive is - if there is one - we can look at the other holiday exclusive, BB-BOO20 (Droid Factory Line Look)! It's a little pumpkin. It's cute, and you can order it online for around $20 shipped. It's more than the $13 at the theme parks, but you're probably not going to the theme parks. Read on!
Admiral Ackbar! This is the second version of him in the 6-inch range, the first being a sequel-based Toys R Us exclusive that seems to share parts with this one. I wonder how long Hasbro had this one in the works? It's cool - but has some weird leg stripe alignment issues and lacks the baton all the older fans wish were there as a nod to Kenner's original.
