SEGA - yes that SEGA - is putting out some new consumer goods for Star Wars in Japan. For when not just any clock will do, there are new Cloud City and Stormtrooper models. In addition to that, the AT-AT Mat (or MAT-AT) is coming for your bathroom needs. NCS has pre-orders for these slated for later this year.
According to video game importer and delightful resource NCS, a Star Wars Helmet Replica Collection is on the way from Bandai. Check it out here. A factory sealed set of 6 boxes has miniature replicas of Boba Fett, C-3PO, Darth Vader, R2-D2, a Stormtrooper, and a TIE Fighter Pilot Helmet. Unless there's a secret helmet.
Game importer and useful news source NCS has confirmed that an assortment of Beni Star Wars Pullback Droids are coming. The set of 6 2.16-inch droids will set you back around $24, and includes R2-D2, R2-Q5, R2-B1, R2-X2, R2-M5, and R2-A6.
Friend of the site (to whom I owe an email or two) Daniel sent me this link to a Japanese site showcasing Hasbro's recent Saga Legends and Mission Series 3 3/4-inch action figures in blind boxes. These new-to-me figures appear to be in Hasbro-branded boxes, which is unusual for the Japanese market, and as far as I can tell there are no obvious difference between their not-blind and likely cheaper US counterparts.
