The seemingly now endless parade of Figure of the Day continues!  Hasbro put out yet another new wave of Saga Legends - that's 3 this year so far - and we start looking at it with Luke Skywalker (Endor).  It's the Endor Battle Poncho!  He's new parts, and the poncho is a physical non-removable part of the figure this time.  It's also probably the least bunchy looking one yet.  Read on!

It's a movieish version of The Clone Wars Plo Koon!  While his outfit won't let him fit in the Starfighters and his gloves are unpainted, there's still plenty of paint between the armor and the masks.   Is the level of detail worth buying yet another Plo Koon?  Read on!

After a handful of figures, we got a new Clone Commander Gree!  The cartoon costume is in a movie sculpt, with 5 points of articulation and just enough paint to be recognizably Gree-ey.  This one is showing up in stores now or you can snag it at our wonderful online sponsors.  Want to know more?  Read on!

So it looks like a whopping 5 waves of 5-jointed figures are hitting now between Mission Series and Saga Legends, like Skiff Guard Lando Calrissian here.  His helmet is non-removable, but the sculpt is really good.  Check it out, read on!

New this year is Han Solo, one of a bunch of waves all hitting right now.  He has a holster, he fits in the Millennium Falcon toy ships quite nicely, and he's pretty cheap if you can find one.  (I've seen it in stores too.)  Want to know more?  Read on!

Our next week of Figure of the Day kicks off with Luke Skywalker, a 2015 redesign with a helmet and not a lot of paint.  It's a pretty fun figure, but has no gun.  It does fit nicely inside pretty much any 3 3/4-inch scale X-Wing toy you may own, though, so go ahead and give this one a look.  Read on!

We've had a bunch of nameless Wookiee Warrior action figures, but this is the first cartoon one!  He's skinny, hairy, and tall - and comes in a two-pack with another character.   Should you add to the growing Wookiee horde?  Read on!

Hey kids, it's IG-88! This Mission Series figures is similar in execution to the original Kenner toy, but shorter and with one gun.   And a significantly better sculpt.  You'll want to check out the comparison photos, but probably not my brief thoughts on the figure, when you read on.

Meet the new Bossk! (Not the same as the old Bossk.)   In Figure of the Day we look at this 2015 release and compare it to the 1980s version - which one is taller?  The answer may surprise you. 

And we're back! Few columns get as many letters and as few reads as Figure of the Day, and it's back for a while with a look at the figures hitting hard now.  Like Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels here - she's got two guns, her helmet doesn't come off, and for budget reasons her paint job isn't quite what you see on TV.  But she's still pretty neat!

It's shipping! I got the Imperial Troop Transport from Star Wars Rebels when I ordered it at Entertainment Earth (available here now in a case with 2 per box). It's neat! It has articulated front cannons, 2 firing rockets, storage for 9 figures, and places to keep bunches of weapons. It does not have funny hats, wheels, a record player, or a large trunk for storage. Be warned, if you haven't seen last night's episode of Star Wars Rebels then this story on USA Today may ruin it for you.  Darth Vader is well known, so I can post this headline: Darth Vader's back in 'Star Wars Rebels'.  You knew that.  And now we know Hasbro is doing a figure for it, which is fantastic news - but there's another figure coming with him, and that's what you may not yet want to know.
