Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Clone Captain Rex (Epic World of Action). It's been out for a couple of months and is an excellent figure with a good amount of articulation. The price is great for what you get. So what's the catch? I haven't seen any in stores yet, it's available online and I assume that means the line isn't doing very well. While he has two clear blue pistols - admittedly, an unusual choice - it's still a well-made figure that would probably do great business if people could find it on a peg. Bright colors, side-eye, decent articulation, and a holster - it's about as good as you can expect from a modern-era collector figure. She was near the top of a very short list of figures that it seemed Hasbro (and Kenner) might never make - but here we are! In the 1990s we were hoping for a figure with six joints and now we've got a super-articulated figure with a separately molded wig, a blaster, a glass, and an alternate hand. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Scout Trooper (Red Tech Speeder Bike / Epic World of Action). The classic deco at stores is being cleared out, but this red "tech" variant has been showing up online. The figure itself is the same, but the bike has some added paint with clear red plastic accessories. It's weird, so I like it - but good luck tracking it down outside online sellers. Read on!

Details are light, but at New York Comic Con Steve Evans posted a preview of Garindan! It looks a little different than many would have expected - the hips seem a little thin and possibly fragile for a robed figure - but it's a new alien. Is it an exclusive? Will it be in a 6-pack? How can I get one? I don't know. But it's nice to see the line continue, in some sort of "pack" at least.

Reusing a lot of Hunter parts, this is a good figure - it doesn't have all the paint you might want, but the range of movement is good and it looks like the character on the show He also has a decent amount of gear and added parts, with a swappable head rather than a removable helmet. Also most surprising of all, I've actually seen him on pegs in stores over the past month - more than once.
I'd recommend giving him a look if you liked his appearances on The Bad Batch and The Clone Wars. Read on!
