This week in Star Wars Q&A - Cantina Anxiety! I think you'll get your Cantinas. But it might cost someone who isn't you a few bucks. Will tariffs make figures rarer? Maybe in the short run, but probably not as long as there's demand.
Also, we're out of questions for next week. Send in new questions.

Another classic! I made this video in 2015. For a shining moment Hasbro, Disney, and Lucasfilm decided to make a toy line and a TV show that shamelessly borrowed the Kenner and Ralph McQuarrie aesthetics, resulting in a surprisingly wide-reaching line of vehicles and a few action figures. There were bikes, walkers, transports, shuttles, starfighters... it was a decent time to be alive.
And if you have Retro figures, you should dig these ships.
That which plagues your dreams and makes you cry out in the night may be in stock! The Star Wars Retro Collection Star Wars: A New Hope Figure Multipack has been going in and out of stock (for shipping) all week long, usually around midnight Pacific.
It's also been going in and out for local in-store pick-up, so make it a point to obsessively reload this link and click "check other stores" to see if you should bother putting on pants and leaving the house today. Normally I'd say "no," but for Kenner figures, I'll find some pants.
If you're over 40 I would recommend picking up one or two of this set. Or three. In 2025, Hasbro is making the figures I was dreaming we would get for the 1995 relaunch. They may not be the exact perfect things we wanted, but they're pretty close and the price (while not cheap) seems fair.
I got the set, and I've opened five of the six figures so far. I don't know when the next set is coming out so I don't want to blow through them. I'm working on Figure of the Day reviews, too. So what do I think? Well, I'll tell you what I think.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Shin Hati (The Vintage Collection). The costume and lightsaber look great! I'm not sure the wig and nose are right. Her lightsaber hilt hangs on her belt, the armor has a lot of detail, and the articulation is very good. How you get her hair right - even with a separately molded wig - seems like quite a challenge. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: J7R-T (The Book of Boba Fett, Droid Factory). He's a newish release that sold out online quickly. He has salad plates. The dome isn't a perfect match for the show, but he's pretty good - check it out and keep your eyes open in case they show up in a theme park or elsewhere. Read on!
This week in Star Wars Q&A - Best sellers! Do we know? We don't know. And toy development! How long will this take?

A classic! I made this video in 2014, and 7 or 8 people saw it. Hasbro made a very large, very cheap Imperial Walker for Star Wars Rebels with this AT-DP. You can fit up to two figures in a very small head, which has a wonderful clunk sound when you open the hatches. It's a superb toy - I wish they would reissue it. If you're buying The Retro Collection, I advise you to go snap up the Rebels ships to use like Mini-Rigs.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Imperial Security Bureau (Imperial Officers set, The Vintage Collection). There are very few ISB figures, and this one from 2023 can be yours! If you already bought it! Because it sold out! It's pretty good. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead, The Vintage Collection) . He's basically the same size as the 2006 The Saga Collection release, but a completely new sculpt, but colored like the 1996 figure, but given accessories to touch on nearly every Hammerhead toy. And a bonus alternate hand for his drink. If you have all the existing Ithorian toys you could want, you may not need this one - but the added articulation, lower cloth robes, and ability to sit in a booth may make it worth your while to pick up if you see one. This week in Star Wars Q&A - Toy Dumping! It can be fun but it's not great. Evergreen character pick? Making things super easy all the time might not be great.
It's a long weekend here in America, so why wait? Have Q&A early. And send me some new questions, because what else are you going to do?

Target's exclusive Star Wars: The Retro Collection 6-pack with the Sandtrooper, Han Solo Stormtrooper, Dr. Evazan, and so forth has started to show up in very limited distribution and, at times, on their web site in onesies and twosies. I was fortunate to get one and it showed up a couple of days ago - here are some lovely high-quality photos of the set's box.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Mandalorian Fleet Commander (The Vintage Collection). This figure has no specific name, but he has an alternate head and probably isn't something you saw in stores very much. Read on!
While supplies last, this year's new C1-RN8W figure is $14.99 plus free shipping with the code "FREESHIP." I paid $10, and I wish I waited - oh well. You can get yours until the offer expires.
It's a rumor - but more so!
I was reading on some forums that Hasbro's Star Wars: The Retro Collection action figures for Obi-Wan Kenobi were showing up at Dollar Tree. Exciting! Ross had some of these guys last year for around $3.99. When I heard Dollar Tree might have some, I started checking (more frequently, I'm there all the dang time looking for stuff) and so far haven't found any. But, as you know, Dollar Tree has things for $1.25 and up.
I was wondering which one this would be, and I had a way to find out.
