Star Wars: The Force Awakens Hasbro and Action Figure Exclusive Checklist

By Adam Pawlus — Saturday, September 5, 2015

What's out? What's coming? And where should you be hunting? Right now, it's a little murky - but it looks like no exclusives have really hit except the retail release of the SDCC Rancor Pit set at Toys R Us.  A whole smattering of things are coming, and I compiled a list for you.  Found something I haven't?  Let me know!   We'll get it added.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,186: Captain Phasma (Buzzsaw, The Force Awakens)

By Adam Pawlus — Saturday, September 5, 2015

While same figure/different weapons are popping up, so far there's only one 3 3/4-inch Captain Phasma.   There's also a 6-inch one - but that's hard to find so far.  She's tall, she's silver, but - surprisingly - only her chest is painted. The limbs and head are molded in a silvery plastic.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,185: Kylo Ren (Jungle/Claw, The Force Awakens)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, September 3, 2015

We still haven't seen everything - but there are many Kylo Ren action figures.  Variant accessories may be a thing now, so keep your peepers peeled.  This one has a bear trap of sorts, but the figure itself has a great sculpt, good deco, and stands up just fine.  It's eight bucks, and you can order it at Entertainment Earth or elsewhere.  Read on!

Amazon - New Stormtrooper Exclusive 6-Inch and 3 3/4-Inch Sets

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, September 3, 2015

Amazon listed two (so far) new exclusive sets on 9/3.   They are:

Star Wars The Force Awakens 3.75-Inch Figure Troop Builder 6-Pack - actually has 7 figures. Captain Phasma is joined by uniquely armored Stormtroopers and Snowtroopers.  The fact that it is not actually a six pack once again robs me of Black Flag jokes.

Star Wars The Black Series 6-Inch Stormtrooper 4-Pack - This is the rumored "evolution" set. Each figure is unique - Stormtrooper has dirty deco, Episode 7 Stormtrooper has a unique pauldron, the Episode III Clone Trooper debuts in this set, and the AOTC yellow Clone Captain is new.

Walmart Gets More Star Wars Waves of 3 3/4-Inch The Black Series

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, September 3, 2015

There's always hope!  Walmart has 3 figures up for grabs now and more are coming.  Tonight you can order Luke Skywalker (dirty boot redeco recolor of 2012 Vintage Blu-Ray Jedi Luke), Darth Vader (repack, possible redeco of the 500th Vader mold), and Chewbacca (possible redeco of 2004 Vintage Chewbacca.)  I'm in the middle of a series of large crises so I'll update this with facts (or your comments) as time permits.   As you wait, click below to see the figures at Walmart.com.

Upcoming releases include the unreleased Ceremonial Leia, Kylo Ren, and a First Order Stormtrooper.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,176: R5-Series Astromech Droid Black with Silver and Orange

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, August 25, 2015

Today in Figure of the Day - before a brief hiatus so I can get some other things in order so we can hopefully all have a fun September - is R5-Series Astromech Droid Black with Silver and Orange.  It's another Disney droid, and potentially available at a theme park "near" you right now.   Is it worth it?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,180: Captain Rex (The Clone Wars - Yoda Series)

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, August 21, 2015

Hey, remember those waves of figures in Yoda-themed packaging that never made it out in the USA?  Well, this Captain Rex is one of them - he has different deco than the 2012 release, plus added knee joints.   Is it worth tracking down this mostly European release?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,179: R2-Series Astromech Droid Grey and White

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, August 20, 2015

The R2-Series Astromech Droid Grey and White  from Disney's droid part bins look a lot like R2-Q2, an exclusive from 2006.  Since there may be more than one of it in the movie, is it different enough to be interesting - or the same enough to be the same?  Read on!
