Back in 1996, if you were young a character like Prince Xizor may have made quite the impression as a sort of evil shipping magnate/reptillian sex wizard. I'm sure this release's weapon should invite giggles. But how is the figure? Read on!
This past Sunday the Toy Man Toy Show was held in St. Louis and Marjorie and Arnie were on hand to report, and to shop! On this week's podcast they discuss the new vintage and vintage vintage items they found at the con, including a Return of the Jedi pop-up book and a deleted scene Luke Skywalker figure.

The Genndy Tartavosky animated series from 2003 has spawned a great sub set of collectible maquettes by Gentle Giant, and Entertainment Earth's exclusive Princess Leia as the bounty hunter Boussh is another great addition. So, Astromech Droid Packs! Can you expect more? Take a guess. What's with Nien Nunb and his height issues? Does it bother me to be so wrong even when I'm right? Absolutely it does. And is that new Jar Jar Binks in Carbonite a figure or an accessory? Let's ask Mr. Owl in this week's Q&A!
There's certainly been a disturbance in The Force the last few days with the passing of the legendary Ralph McQuarrie, Hasbro announcing a reduction in force of 170 employees, and Curto moving on. The store activity has also lulled, save for the recent Walmart markdowns. This week starts with a new TRU BOGO offer and hunting for some good online deals.

This Clone Trooper is orange, and is one of many fine Vintage figures you may have missed. The deco isn't as good as the 2006 version, but the articulation is way better. So you'll need both. Read on, and vote in the new poll!
The end of an era is upon us as a collecting community. Dan Curto has announced on his Facebook page today that he is no longer with Rebelscum. Dan's passion, tireless energy, and love for the hobby has created the most prolific Star Wars photo archive on the net and played a huge part in making Rebelscum what is today. While he will certainly be missed, his talent and drive won't be easy to contain and we look forward to his next project. Thanks for all your hard work, efforts and contributions Dan! Collecting News will not be the same without you (at least temporarily, we imagine.). May The Force Be With You, Always.
