Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Captain Cassian Andor (The Black Series). The original release was OK, but the face paint was bad - this just plain looks spectacular, so get one. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Bib Fortuna (The Vintage Collection). The 2021 release is pretty neat, but the heads vary from figure to figure - the teeth may be missing on the bottom of some mouths. Articulation is good, the robes are great, but if you have your 2006 model hanging out in your palace or barge, you might be OK as it is. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Lobot (The Vintage Collection) . His sudden appearance as an action figure for the first time since 2004 makes me wonder if he's showing up on a TV show sooner than later - as of now, he's just a classic figure with a Disney-era Stormtrooper rifle for some reason. But he's a great figure. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Bo-Katan Kryze (The Vintage Collection). The 2021 release has one of the very best human heads I've ever seen in this size - and the armor ain't bad either. (The shoulder tampos could be better.) What'll really knock your socks off are the hip joints, which have a range of motion that's on par with the O-Ring G.I. Joe figures. Read on!

This week in Q&A - Hasbro's 12-inch figures - should we get our hopes up? And The Final Resting Place of Prototypes - which is technically a HasLab question, but you have to admit, it's a good one.

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Crosshair (Imperial, The Black Series). It's a good figure but not an authentic figure - the colors and new helmet are great, but the armor is just a recolor of the Republic version. It's not really accurate to the show, so a version 2.0 is pretty much essential right out of the gate. Regardless, it does look cool in and of itself and is arguably worth a buy at regular price. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Jyn Erso (The Black Series). This is the 2021 release today. The old 2016 figure is new and improved with an impressive photoreal face, and this does indeed mean your old ones are old and inferior. This is probably one of the most dramatic improvements I've seen since Hasbro started repainting figures with the new printing, and in person it's stunning how much better she looks. Read on!
