Rancho Obi-Wan is in the process of developing their 2013 Membership kits, but it will include a new 2013 Membership patch, a welcome letter from Steve Sansweet, as well as a special Thank You gift for renewing members.
Dark Horse releases their solicitations for June, with the new and selling out Star Wars series continuing, featuring Han Solo and Chewbacca in a new adventure. Jedi Master K'Khruk's fight with militia soldiers comes to an abrupt end with the appearance of some unexpected allies in Dark Times: Fire Carrier #5. These titles and more after the jump!

Wizard World conventions are a staple for sci-fi and comic book fans. Having produced their multi-city conventions for years in Philadelphia, Chicago, and many other cities, they now expand their reach deeper in the midwest this year with Wizard World St. Louis!
Customizer, toymaker, and all-around nice guy Joe Amaro has a new custom you ought to see in the works. The artwork has been posted for R2-22, a droid inspired by Ralph McQuarrie's work on the Masters of the Universe movie and pushed through the lens of Star Wars.
As the most recent Attack of the Clones Obi-Wan Kenobi to be put back in circulation, you'll be glad to know this one is very OK. It's not a great fit for the 2013 Jedi Starfighter, but as a figure that can stand around this 2012 release isn't half bad. How does this 2003 mold ten years later?
Time for a new Q&A! Let's talk View-Master. And also Clone Wars. And 2013's many sub-lines - what are we going to see? Well, we know what was announced. What makes the cut remains to be seen. All this and another old man toy rant, so read on!
The custom Orbit Zenith Man figure has been launched! It's a $65 delivered (in the USA) metallic bootleg Uzay Blue Stars-inspired redeco of the 2013 12-inch Clone Trooper, and it looks pretty nice. It includes a box and has been lovingly decorated with Monster Kolor paints (which you may be familiar with if you collect custom vinyl kaiju toys or Glyos.) Click here to order yours.
Does this Biker Scout having different grey dirt splotches make him different? Sure, why not. It's from a really great 2007 gift set that at the time was one of the greatest bargains the line had to offer. And today? Well, it's cheaper than it was a couple of years ago.
Let's look at Rebel Pilot Tiree, a still-available exclusive from the original Star Wars movie! Sure, he has the wrong torso, but that's the rule rather than the exception lately. Should you run out to the Toys R Us to get one?
I really like this Battle Droid, in part because the blue-bedecked "pilots" are far and few between. We got one about 13 years ago with another swell mini-rig-ish vehicle, and then... uh... I think this might be it, actually. It's based on the 2012 MTT droid mold, which isn't at all bad. I'm not saying it's exceptional, but I am saying I like it enough to wish I had more.
Since it's pretty awesome, we have word that the Orbit Zenith Man custom Uzay-inspired repaints of the recently released 12-inch Clone Trooper Hasbro figure will go on sale Friday, March 22 at 6:00 PM Pacific time. The creator at Orbitdyne Customs promises custom boxes which have yet to be shown yet, and for now you can go get a look at the metallic figures.
Check out this AT-ST Gunner from the Kmart AT-ST Drivers pack last year! It's pretty good. For the price, I'd say it's quite the deal... particularly if you have one of the earlier AT-ST vehicles which doesn't collapse under its own weight like the 2012 release.
Check out Clone Trooper Slick, a Target-exclusive from the not-quite-dead series. It's basically a plain white Clone with a removable helmet.
So you want to know if 2013 looks slow? Well, yeah. And how about carded action figure storage, since you're going to have a lot of time to think about the stuff you already bought? And let's complain about 2013 some more since, I guess, that's what people are asking about now. Please feel free to send in other questions, and read this week's update after the jump.
