Today, Funko's blog tortures informs you with information about four new amazingly cool Funko Hikari Vinyl Figures - only available at Celebration VII in Anaheim, CA. There's a super-cool Icy Stormtrooper, a stellar Star Clone Trooper, a bronze Matte Black Boba Fett, and a Verdigris Greedo. Each is limited to between 500 and 1,000 pieces, and you should totally pick me up a set if you go.
It's a new mold! The Star Wars Bossk Metallic Premium Hikari Sofubi Vinyl Figure is up for order at our sponsor Entertainment Earth and presumably elsewhere. Due in July, he's $79.99 and limited to a mere 1,000 pieces - so snag yours before your Bossk shrine has a Hikari-shaped hole in it.

A limited edition of 750, the Star Wars Greedo Sublime Premium Hikari Sofubi Vinyl Figure is up for order at Entertainment Earth. The first release had metallic paint, while this one is clear, glittery plastic. These things shine bright in person, and this one is due in April. Only 750 are being produced and pre-orders are open now.
Funko's admittedly bizarre and nifty Hikari Vinyl figure line is, in short, to vinyl figures what Gentle Giant was to Mini Busts back in 2002. It's a little strange, it seems expensive, they're limited, and it's a big shift from the kind of cheap stuff we were used to seeing. Several figures have been announced but this Original Greedo is their very first release. Each individual figure has a name for each paintjob, but it's only visible on the trading card inside each figure's box and can not be seen on the packaging's exterior. It's in the 7 1/4-inch range, rather than the much larger Hikari Marvel figures and comes to you hand-painted with 3 points of articulation.
Funko revealed (and Entertainment Earth put up a pre-order for) Star Wars Darth Vader Lightning Premium Hikari Sofubi Vinyl Figure this morning. This figure is very similar to a Batman in the line in terms of deco, and is the first Darth Vader in this line. It is expected this April and pre-orders are open for $79.99.
It's new! The Star Wars Boba Fett Premium Hikari Sofubi Glitter Vinyl Figure is up for grabs now and you can pre-order it at Entertainment Earth. 1,200 will be made and it's $79.99. It is expected in June.

This is the first all-original design and new character for the line to see production, which previously has consisted of 5 swell Alien figures based on Kenner's prototypes.

UPDATE 12/20: If you ordered your figures from Super7 at either San Diego Comic-Con or through their web site, you may be receiving them this weekend - mine showed up today. The figures came on blue, unpunched cardbacks and the bonus figure was a clear grey Alien which, as someone who is a little sick of clear figures, I gotta say looked awesome. Check those mailboxes - or order yourself a set! Do it! Send Hasbro a message about how much we love vintage-style figures, people!
