While it doesn't say so in the headline, Hasbro has a new press release confirming the renewal of Star Wars (and Marvel) licenses. Agreement Grants Hasbro Continued Global Toy & Board Game Merchandising Rights for the Iconic Brands.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Yoda (Epic World of Action). I got mine online, and I hope you'll see it in stores. For $8 you get Hasbro's best prequel-era Yoda figure yet, with excellent articulation and three good accessories. The lightsaber is no surprise, the Sith energy thing is pretty cool... but a tiny clear green Starfighter? Now that's impressive.
The 2025 figure has those ball-ish shoulders you love, plus swivel wrists. If you only buy one figure from this particular range of figures, it should be Yoda. The other figures in the wave have more articulation and features, but only Yoda has a tiny ship. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Darth Vader (Epic World of Action). The 2025 model has more motion at the shoulders and hips, plus adds knee and elbow joints. The lightsaber is overpowered too, take a look at the energy bolts coming from it - it's pretty cool, and hopefully will be in a store near you soon. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Scout Trooper (Speeder Bike / Epic Hero Series). This is a new release that's actually easy to find - most Target stores seem to be getting solid cases of just him. (But, oddly, not the Mando bike.) The figure is pretty good, with nice paint and a slick off-white coloring that looks sort of like the battle-worn armor on the show. It also includes a Stormtrooper blaster instead of the Bike Scout pistol, but it's still a neat figure with a nice toy bike. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Mandalorian (Speeder Bike / Epic Hero Series). It's an actual toy! It comes with a bike that has wheels. He has elbow and knee joints. It's a big improvement over last year's figure, but I haven't yet seen this one on store shelves. His companion, the Imperial Speeder Bike, seems to be abundant at Target though. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Bo-Katan Kryze (Single, Epic Hero Series). The figure itself is identical to the version in a two-pack at Walmart with Moff Gideon, but this individually carded release has a unique accessory. Is it worth buying twice? Well, only if you're that kind of person. It's a good figure though, and it might be at a Ross near you for around four bucks - which is absolutely worth the wait in line. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Mandalorian Warrior (Amazon Exclusive 3-Pack, Epic Hero Series) . This Amazon exclusive seems to be in stock and $1 off through that handy affiliate link, and while she's not completely perfect to the costume seen in The Mandalorian I haven't seen any other action figure toys of this character. I think she's great, and one of very few figures exclusive to Epic Hero Series. For that reason, you'll want this set. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Paz Vizsla (Amazon Exclusive 3-Pack, Epic Hero Series). This Amazon exclusive comes in a 3-pack with Axe Woves (new) and an unnamed Mandalorian Warrior figure. Paz Vizsla is identical to the Deluxe figure in stores near you - but without the jet pack or firing rocket launcher. You probably don't need both versions, but if you want all figures and all gear, you're going to have both. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Axe Woves (Amazon Exclusive 3-Pack, Epic Hero Series). This Amazon exclusive comes in a 3-pack with Paz Vizsla and an unnamed Mandalorian Warrior figure. Axe Woves is also made of retooled Boba Fett parts - hence why he's a little bulkier - but is still a decent looking toy figure. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Bo-Katan Kryze (Walmart Exclusive 2-Pack, Epic Hero Series). This Walmart 2-pack is likely in stores now, and is different than the single figure - the 2-pack has a jet pack, the single has a blaster. It's a pretty nice figure, too, with a Beskar pauldron. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Moff Gideon (Walmart Exclusive 2-Pack, Epic Hero Series). This Walmart exclusive is about $20, and that isn't too bad. He has different accessories than the single-carded release, including a jet pack which is unique. I like this one. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Darth Maul (Deluxe, Cyborg, Epic Hero Series). This Walmart exclusive is an inexplicable $20, and is awesome as it is confounding on so many levels. They retooled the figure's robe skirt to be shorter, but merely painted on the belt buckley parts. There's a clip-on piece of chest armor and a cool spinning lightsaber blade swirl, but these accessories can't possibly justify the $12 upcharge over a basic figure. Having said that, it's so weird, and so funky, that I would highly recommend it on sale or if we find out the price was some sort of clerical error that will be fixed at some point. It's well-made, but so strange in where the budget went and considering Walmart has a figure 2-pack while Amazon has a figure 3-pack for the same price, it's a mystery for the ages. Read on!
Ad: Now at Amazon, the STAR WARS Epic Hero Series Unite The Clans Pack, Paz Vizsla, Mandalorian Warrior, Axe Woves 4-Inch Action Figures, Toys for 4 Year Old Boys & Girls (Amazon Exclusive) is available for $19.99 - and you get three figures, only one of which is available elsewhere. It is in stock now, and if you buy it, we might get a portion of the sale as commission. (We have bills coming up.)
If you're out and about, it is joined by at least three other Epic Hero Series exclusives.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Darth Maul (Movie Version, Epic Hero Series). This one has a play feature - his lightsaber can be split in half, as have so many, so you can use it as one accessory or as two. The sculpt is very good, with an expressive face and some very pointy horns. Hasbro did such a good job n this mold that you can see why they wanted to repaint it for an exclusive, even if it's a weird fit. Having said that, this particular movie-specific figure may be in a store near you right now, too. I'd recommend it. Read on!
