HASBRO's Star Wars Q&A - Answers From 8/18

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, September 7, 2011

It's that time again!  Hasbro sent some answers to a pair of our burning questions.  This time, we're focusing on upcoming The Vintage Collection packaging and a new gun gimmick showing up on the newest "mini-rigs" from The Clone Wars.  And we can point you to two other equally thrilling questions, but there's a catch.  Read on!

Question #1

Some of the new mini vehicles have a swappable gun feature-- the Republic Scout Speeder and Y-Wing Scout Bomber, in particular.  Can you tell us more about this gimmick, and if it will be incorporated on other toys going forward?

Yes, we do plan on continuing the "universal port" swappable feature across these vehicles where appropriate. Great simple added play!

Question #2

Can you tell us anything about the cardback design of the upcoming "Clone Wars" vintage figures?  We assume it will be the same silver-and-black, but can you tell us anything about which logo will be used?  (Or might it be green or blue like the old Ewoks and Droids packaging?)

The Clone Wars logo will follow a similar "classic" design language as the 6 films. It will not be green and blue like the Ewoks and Droids packaging.
