Unless there are running changes we don't know about, there should be three versions of this Kanan Jarrus in circulation before Thanksgiving.  One is in the Toys R Us exclusive 3-pack, another is packaged with the Phantom at Target, and the third is individually carded in the Saga Legends assortment.  It's a nice figure - good sculpt, clean deco, and it stands nicely too.  Read on!

For the first time in years, I'm actually really pleased with a holographic figure!   Obi-Wan Kenobi is exclusive to Toys R Us and started showing up in my neck of the woods over the weekend.  The set has 3 figures and is $19.99, and is arguably worth the asking price.   He has one point of articulation - and I'm scratching my head to name another full-size 3 3/4-inch humanoid Star Wars figure with only one joint - with a really wonderful sculpt and pose. And he's hollow.  Read on!

Despite having just reset recently, Toys R Us stores are re-resetting with a new area filled with Marvel and Star Wars - Hasbro and LEGO mixed - near their usual spot in the stores.  New toys are hitting right now, including the Mission Series: The Ghost set pictured here.  The Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus figures are assumed similar (if not identical) to the regular releases, but you'll note that there's a blacked-out window there for a third figure.

New figures include Metallic Alien, Spacesuit Ripley , Kane with Chestburster, and Kane with Facehugger. These figures are due in November.  These are all in the style of the awesome first batch of figures, which were based on actual 1979 Kenner concepts for unproduced figures in the style of the original Kenner Star Wars toys.  See pictures after the break!

In a release on their own site, Global LEGO sales up 15 percent in first half of 2014.  What this means is that their upward momentum - having passed Hasbro a little while back - was furthered by the hit LEGO Movie just enough to snag the top spot.

The white-hot ticket this week is Walgreens' Boba Fett (Concept Armor) 6-inch action figure.  When you find it, it'll be $19.99 and near sick, sneezing, and otherwise happy people. The figure is a redecorated 2013 Boba Fett, which you may recall was an excellent toy for the price.  This white Boba Fett has unique armor that is colored differently than his 3 3/4-inch counterpart, which you will see in a video after the jump.

It's Monday, so let's look at Q&A! How is Walmart doing with their toy section? Well... it keeps getting smaller. Let's also talk about vehicles, bigger figures, and of course things we can't find because Hasbro didn't actually make them.

The Walgreens Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) 6-inch action figure is out now - most stores are getting partial cases and you won't see a variety at all locations.  In the past 72 hours I hit up about 16 locations and generally saw no more than 1-3 Star Wars figures of any kind at each location - for example, one store had 3 Boba Fetts in Glendale, AZ and nothing else.  Another had 2 Darth Vaders and nothing else.  And another had a single Sandtrooper, and that was it.  Only 3 of the stores had any 6-inch Star Wars figures yet, but this is a new-to-them line.

While we prefer not to link to eBay auctions, the one for Star Wars Carded Unproduced Wave 1 2013 Droid Factory set of 12 unreleased was too good to pass up.  It's one of two known sets to exist - I've seen a couple of these up-close and know of only one privately held set - so if you want it, now is the time to cough up some dough. These are not the same exact ones on Amazon, although those figures are present - as are some of the first The Black Series wave 1 figures in their original packaging.

It's Labor Day, but I don't get to stop Q&A because it means I'll die. Let's talk vintage Star Wars from the good old days - do you have any idea just how dang many of these things actually were made? A lot. And street dates, and how they will likely not impact your Rebels hunting. Hot Wheels? Don't mind if I do - all this and more await you this week! It's neat neat neat. I need lunch. Read on!
