The Shawn Levy movie has been revealed and it's Star Wars: Starfighter. It takes place five years after the final sequel movie The Rise of Skywalker. There's not much else to go on yet, so presumably we're in some sort of post-First Order/One Order remnant situation. Or pirates?

It starts production this fall.

If there are any legacy characters in it, I have not yet seen the announcement. As I write this I was reminded Nien Nunb died in The Rise of Skywalker which, in my defense, is the only Star Wars movie I've only watched once. Some other survivors from George Lucas' era are C-3PO, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, Jar Jar Binks, and Wedge Antilles. If anyone is building a cameo bingo card - after all Shawn Levy's Deadpool & Wolverine made them the peanuts in his Cracker Jack - please do keep us posted.
