Many years ago (back in 1983) this one scene in Return of the Jedi caught this kid's eye and ever since he longed for a Slave Leia figure to add to his Kenner Jabba's Throne playset... well years later in late 90's his dream would be fulfilled when Kenner/Hasbro released the POTF version of everyone's favorite space Princess in perhaps the best outfit of the entire trilogy... while the figure looked great back in the day there was still some issues with it...though a resculpt on the way in early 2000, Princess Leia would still suffer from limited articulation or the chance to recline on Jabba's throne...
now after many years of waiting and hoping Hasbro upped the ante and gave us in 2009 perhaps the perfect Slave Leia for those of us who waited all those long years....
with multiple points of articulation as well as a set of interchangable legs( which now allows us to pose her in our new and improved Jabba's Dais set ....still have yet to be able to find one of these at retail)we now have the perfect Slave Leia for our collections....
My hat is off to you Hasbro for giving us a complete home run of a figure.... Bravo Hasbro !!!!! BRAVO
Now if Hasbro will only give us the joy of seeing Leia in all her beauty on a Vintage Cardback....
