Star Wars Fighter Pods Series 2 Shipping, Horrible Video Review

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, June 20, 2012

The second batch of Hasbro's Fighter Pods, tiny blind-bagged and painted Star Wars figures, have started shipping.  Unfortunately the blind bags don't include checklists, nor do they include the online game codes promised on the bags. (There's a sticker covering this.) We got some.  Want to know more? Did you see the McQuarrie Concept Boba Fett Fighter Pods Figure that everybody needs to get? Click through for a list of characters (and a video with some nice close-ups) after the jump. These figures began to ship from online stores like our sponsor Entertainment Earth and may be in a store near you shortly.  And there's this awful video I made.  Turn down your speakers lest you get stuck hearing me speak.

My packs had entirely new figures.  No figures were carried over from Series 1, although there were a few repainted molds.  Figures I received include:

Aayla Secura (Holograph)

AT-AT Driver

Blackhole Stormtrooper

Boba Fett (McQuarrie Concept)

Cad Bane

Clone Pilot Goji

Clone Trooper (Helmet Off)

Clone Trooper Commander (AOTC)

Clone Trooper Denal

Commander Fil

Commander Neyo

Coruscant Security Clone Trooper

Count Dooku

Darth Sidious (Holograph)

General Grievous

Jar Jar Binks

Mace Windu

Probot

Qui-Gon Jinn (Holograph)

R4-P22

Sandtrooper (White Pauldron)

Shocktrooper

TC-14

There's a lack of original trilogy characters in these packs, although there are some in the other configurations (or so I read) so keep an eye open for new multipacks where the figures aren't blind-packed.  McQuarrie Boba Fett is a thing of beauty, so be sure to track it down.  These guys are the perfect size to sit on top of a flat LCD monitor,
