GHR: Speaking Of BMF's

By Mike — Sunday, February 26, 2012

There was a question in a past Q&A about finding The Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon (aka BMF) at retail and FREE Shipping. Well, we have the answer to this question, this week's ToysRUs deal, and an update to yesterday's Walmart $4 Vintage bonanza in today's Galactic Hunt Report!

Are you still searching for the big daddy of all Hasbro Star Wars vehicles? Need an extra as a coffee table? And you want it at retail and FREE Shipping do you? The 2 1/2 foot Legacy Collection Millennium Falcon is pretty much sold out at retail everywhere and online, but Amazon.com has it IN STOCK and ready to ship for FREE (with Super Saver Shipping) for $171.50. Heck, you may not even have to pay tax! Click here and order one before they're gone!

ToysRUs is having a Buy 2 Get 1 FREE deal this week on all their Star Wars action figures. There's added value in this deal if you're able to find the Deleted Scenes wave, which have been spotted at all 3 big box retailers.  The Rise of Boba Fett Ultimate Battle Pack is also on sale at TRU.com for $79.98 with FREE shipping (up to $20). Click here to shop online.

As an update to yesterday's post on the Walmart $4 Vintage Figure sale, it actually appears that the stores are differentiating 2011 and 2012 SKU's. We've received reports that the The Phantom Menace and Deleted Scenes wave have been scanning at the regular price of $8.96. There are even a few reports where the Deleted Scenes figures weren't even showing up in the system and stock clerks are refusing to sell them! This is still a tremendous deal, especially if you can find any left over Rebel Fleet Troopers, Clone Troopers, and Stormtroopers to troop build with.

I repeat this again because gas has been hovering over $4 a gallon in Southern California and eating into a lot of budgets, so there may be a more compelling reason for you to shop online and save money, headache, and if you're a carded collector, get these beautiful Vintage cards unpunched and case fresh. If you do decide to shop online, we encourage you to buy them from our sponsors at BriansToys, BigBadToyStore.com, or Entertainment Earth and support the site at the same time.

And to finish things off, where are the Discover The Force Battlepacks? The first shipments of the Royal Starship Astromech Droids and Mos Espa Arena sets appears to have mostly sold through, even online. I've personally only seen 1 case (containing 2 of each) at a couple of local stores I hunt. Let's hope Walmart receives more shipments because secondary prices on eBay have been north of $50 for each set.

Have a spectacular week and Happy Galactic Hunting!
