Today let's look at Clone Captain Rex, covered in eel blood! Figure of the Day has never been so gross. Is this figure worth picking up just because he's covered in blue goo? Read on!
Warwick Davis, the actor inside the furry suit of everyone's favorite Ewok, Wicket, stopped by the Hasbro pavilion to check out the new Wicket figure (this time sporting the non-animated brown hood) and pose for photos with fans and even Hasbro/Star Wars team members. (Most importantly, he was able get the accurate brown hood placed on the little furball figure.) Check it out, and the big smile says it all.
Packaged Battle of Endor pilot boxed set photos with new droids and Grizz Frix! Attack of the Clones vintage figures with different views and outfits! Adorable plushies! Massive fan diorama galleries! The entire TK Project Stormtrooper helmet collection! All of this awaits you below!
Earlier this afternoon at STAR WARS Celebration V in Orlando, The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart sat down for a one-hour interview with STAR WARS creator George Lucas in what was billed “The Main Event.” Hasbro is proud and honored to create a special gift for Stewart, which Lucas presented to him during the event – a one of a kind (NOT FOR SALE) 3.75-inch Jon Stewart Stormtrooper action figure!
We have tons of new pictures! Want to see in-booth shots of the newest waves of The Clone Wars and The Vintage Collection? How about life-size fan-made replicas of Ephant Mon, the Max Rebo Band, and Muftak? It's all here!
We've had Obi-Wan Kenobi, yesterday was General Grievous, and today it's Anakin Skywalker! This is the one that may have a running change to "Darth Vader" on the nameplate, so you may as well get this special version if you're here. And if you aren't? Well, you're dead to me.
Just posted: a gallery of the slides from Hasbro's collector presentation... another gallery with photo highlights from the presentation... and for the completists out there, click on "Read More" for this article to download the whole presentation as a PDF. I live-tweeted the panel, but if you missed it, here are my posts in reverse order-- included are highlights from the slides as well as commentary. Big news: 3-Packs 3-Pack, Kohl's Galactic Heroes AT-ST, Vintage AOTC wave! It's messy.
On sale at Celebration V-- with practically no line at all-- is a two-pack with Fixer and Camie Marstrap. This is a great set-- the comic is nice, but the fact that you're getting action figures of a legendary scene you've likely never seen is pretty amazing. She's well-done too, so read on!
StarWarsShop now has the Cami and Fixer Comic Pack and 4-LOM Zuckuss set exclusive to Celebration V now IN STOCK and available for $14.99 each. Click here to order!
Mickey Gunslinger finds the new Deluxe Obi-Wan Kenobi with BARC Speeder and Mandalorian Speeder with Mandalorian Warrior for $16.97 each at the Super Wal-Mart in Scottsdale, AZ. Happy Hunting!

Here's a quick update from the Hasbro booth. Beleaguered Rebel fly-boy Wedge Antilles will be coming out on a Return of the Jedi cardback (#26) in a future wave. He will keep the number that he would have in the current collection despite shipping later on. As was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, the Wedge Antilles figure is being delayed to improve the sculpt.
Wedge Antilles has been released time-and time again improving little by little (from the Power of the Force 2 "buff era", as a kitbashed exclusive for New Force Comics during the Original Trilogy Collection, and at least 9,000 other attempts. This time out for the vaunted Vintage Collection, the crew at Hasbro hopes (fingers crossed) to definitively nail the sculpt. (We wish them lots of luck.)
