By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, August 12, 2010

On sale now-- I just saw the line, so I can confirm this-- is Zuckuss, or 4-LOM in Kenner colors.  I love this figure-- the paint job is delightfully retro and the gag naming is delightful.  You do need it.  Read on!

By Mike — Wednesday, August 11, 2010

The other two sets include Anakin/Vader and Boba Fett. Pricepoint is $17.99 each. Happy hunting and please report those finds!

Figure of the Day: Day 1,346

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, August 11, 2010

What a difference a year makes!  In 2009, this was one of the hottest topics and most-debated issues, because Captain Typho was really hard to get.  Now?  Well, you're probably more concerned with Celebration V than how amazing this figure is, complete with crazy gear and amazing detail.  Show some respect-- read on!

This Is It! THE Must-Have Exclusive at Celebration V

By Adam May — Tuesday, August 10, 2010

So here's the thing, we're literally HOURS (I'm counting them) from Celebration V in Orlando, FL. and friends keep asking me what is the must-have Celebration V exclusive, and, while I'd LOVE a Wampa Rug/Tauntaun Sleeping Bag — which I'd have to use if I brought them home (I'd take pictures of my exile) I know in my bones that the 4-LOM/Zuckuss Retro-Vintage Mix-Up Combo by Hasbro is the one thing I cannot live without.

Figure of the Day: Day 1,345

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, August 10, 2010

You may be able to find this Tall Jedi Padawan if you go to Florida this week!  The Star Tours exclusive was reportedly not a huge hit, so some might be around in a Disney park near... well, someone.  Is he worth grabbing?  Read on!

The Imperial AT-AT (2010) — DisPLAY With Your Toys

By Adam May — Monday, August 9, 2010

Since not all of our Imperial AT-AT Walkers were asked to take part in the 11:38 "sneak attack" series, we were heading in another direction. This is the first of a series of photo montages of the new Imperial AT-AT "in play". We assume that this part of Blizzard Force is taking on the first wave of Rebel scum (no relation) to make way for Darth Vader's arrival. (Once again, note that the all-new Imperial AT-AT comes with ONE (1) AT-AT Driver and ONE (1) Speederbike.) Some of the products shown are not currently available at retail, but we hope they're in your collection anyway.

Figure of the Day: Day 1,344

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, August 9, 2010

Say hi to Clone Trooper Jek!  Today's Figure of the Day debuted as an exclusive but eventually had an individually carded rerelease-- which was slightly harder to get.  Should you have picked up this figure from The Clone Wars when you had the chance?  Read on!

Figure of the Day: Day 1,343

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, August 6, 2010

Hey kids, it's the first-ever Wedge Antilles action figure!  He has 6 joints, a Hoth pilot outfit, and basically is worth getting only if you're a card-carrying member of the Cult of Wedge.  But should you read on anyway?  Yes.

Figure of the Day: Day 1,342

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, August 5, 2010

Hey kids, it's another Obi-Wan Kenobi, this time with baby Luke Skywalker!  How is the comic pack redeco of the somewhat hard to find figure?  Read on!

Figure of the Day: Day 1,341

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, August 4, 2010

The new Vintage Collection figures should be pretty much everywhere this week, we even saw some at lunch today.  As such, it's time to decide if figures like this new Han Solo are worth your while. He's new, but is he cool?  (Being he's from Hoth, after all?)  Read on!

Post-Comic-Con Posters & Goodies Giveaway

By Adam May — Tuesday, August 3, 2010

We will be monitoring [hint — encouraging] comments (for quality control, naturally) for a bit as we pack our bags and go through our checklists leading up to Celebration V in Orlando, FL.  Comments can lead to goodies like Hasbro's Star Wars posters from Comic-Con 2010 (and maybe even surplus posters going back a few years); a set (or more once we take stock) of those oh-so frame-worthy backer cards (from Hasbro, naturally); and whatever goodies we stu

2010 Star Wars Saga Legends Obi-Wan Kenobi Variant

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, August 3, 2010

Our pal Victoria sent us a picture of a new Saga Legends Obi-Wan Kenobi variation hitting stores now.  Both figures share the same SKU, but different tools were employed to make this figure.  The first release was a repack of the Attack of the Clones Outlander Club version, sold as part of the dark blue and gold carded "Saga" figures in late 2003.  The second release is based on the 2008 Revenge of the Sith figure on the "30th Anniversary" style cards which included display stands.  Both are packed with guns, a card, a display

Hey kids, it's the brand-new (as of this week [or last month]) General Grievous!  He has swappable heads, arms you can rip off, and even hackable legs.  Unfortunately, his plastic is a little soft.  Is he worth tracking down?   Read on!
