(NEW
YORK, NY, FEBRUARY 19, 2005) With a brand new and more than likely last Star Wars film just over the
horizon, the propsmiths at Master Replicas plan on launching a strong campaign
starring not only their popular prop lightsaber collection, but also continuing
their scale ILM prop vehicles, a new helmet collection, and even a brand new
poker chip set. Now that's what we call diversifying! Barry Jones, Master
Replicas' new Star Wars division head and avowed enthusiast,
acknowledges that it takes a fan to know what fans want, and they plan to
deliver.

The limited edition lightsabers continue strong with Revenge of the Sith
Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda,
and the guaranteed to be hot Darth Sidious lightsaber. The premium
lightsabers retail for $369 each with limited numbered production runs to
enhance collectability. While the Anakin and Obi-Wan lightsabers feature enough
updates to distinguish them from their previous versions, the Sidious lightsaber
is an all new design that emotes an older, more sinister style. A piece definitely worthy of the Dark Side.

New for 2005 is their Prop Helmet collection, which looks even more amazing
in person than in these photos. Each fiberglass helmet is based on actual
Lucasfilm props and even feature padded interiors. On display was a spectacular
two piece Darth Vader helmet (which is actually part of their premium
Studio Scale prop at a hefty $899 pricepoint), a Clone Trooper helmet
($349) and an unfinished prototype of the upcoming Special Ops Troop helmet.
($399).

The Studio Scale Prop AT-AT makes a grand return with a new diorama
base featuring snow and a crashed snowspeeder. The "Second Edition"
prop is a vast improvement over the first with a higher $1499 pricepoint to
match.

Collectors who missed out on the blink and you missed out Han Solo Blaster
from A New Hope in 2002 now have the opportunity to collect the new Empire
Strikes Back Han Solo Blaster ($499).

The FX lightsabers come back stronger than ever with improved
electronics and construction. On tap in April are the Darth Vader and Anakin
Skywalker FX Lightsabers ($119).
Highly collectible with a price that won't put a huge ding in your waller,
the .45 Scale Lightsaber collection is back for 2005 with mini versions of the full
sized ROTS limited edition lightsabers (Anakin, Obi-Wan Yoda, and Darth Sidious).
At $35 a piece, the .45 scale sabers are affordable enough to keep up with and
they display beautifully on any shelf.

Finally, a Star Wars Poker Set will add just the right dose of
fanboy geekiness when hanging out with your buddies on a Friday night. The set
comes with two decks of cards and chips adorned with their own unique Star Wars
design and stored in a handsome brushed metal carrying case. While you
can't expect to be as cool as Han Solo playing a high stakes game of sabbacc, it
raises the hip factor in your man den nonetheless.

With a brand new direction and a renewed commitment to fans and
collectors, Master Replicas plans to jump right in to the year of the Sith with
collectibles that not only stay true to the authenticity of the Star Wars
films, but also offer a wide selection to fit your budget. And, oh yes, raise
your game in poker to boot.
