(SAN DIEGO, CA July 24, 2004)The
Star Wars Fan Club hosted their second San Diego Comic-Con breakfast at the
Marriott Hotel and Marina. Mary Franklin of Lucasfilm played host and
emcee to the event, and guests include Lucasfilm's licensing head honcho Howard
Roffman and Fan Relations' Steve Sansweet, Lucas Online's
Paul Ens, , Fan Club president Lisa Stevens, and Hasbro's Jeff
Popper. Also making a surprise appearance was Daniel Logan (AOTC's
young Boba Fett).

After a brief introduction by Mary, the fan club members enjoyed a
traditional breakfast of eggs, sausage, pastries, and fruit. This was followed
by a raffle of Star Wars gifts to lucky fans, then a Q&A with the
V.I.P.'s. Fans asked questions ranging from Star Wars Weekends in Disney
California ("working on it") to the official title of Episode III
("go to today's presentation" says Sansweet).
Each guest received a FREE Hasbro Silver Sandtrooper and Star Wars
goodie bag. The Indiana Jones shopping bag was filled with randomly selected
items from the Lucasfilm Licensing archives. According to Mary, there were even
a few items which date back to '77, so it was a nice bonus treat overall. Our
particular goodie bag included:
